This was a random stop because I am not usually in this area The food was good. Nice presentation too(sorry didn't get pictures) It looked like they grilled their own chicken for their food instead of bagged pre-made. It was nice to see the manager or owner walking around helping out. He greeted customers and helped clear tables. The rice and beans sides were kind of bland. I don't know if it was an off batch or something. If I am in the area again, I'll definitely be back.

The restaurant was very clean, the service was extremely fast and the servers were pleasant. But sadly, the food was bland with no heat, and the margarita (lime, on tap) probably didn't have any tequila in it. However, looking around the restaurant, it fits its clientele, old white folk.

Reserved the banquet room for our clubs final meeting. We paid the $50 non-refundable reservation fee for the room several weeks in advance but were not told that we had to have a MINIMUM of 20 people to have the buffet for our meeting, but would still be required to pay the 20% gratuity for using the room. We decided to go ahead and pay as if we would have 20 people (even though we would only have 16 that RSVP'd) which would leave leftovers to take home. The food was room temperature at best. The ONE SERVER assigned to the banquet room only came into the room 3 times max during the 1.5 hours we had reserved the room. Never cleared any plates, silverware, etc from the tables. We had asked to have the music volume for the banquet room lowered (which never happened) since we were passing out awards and had to maneuver around dishes left on the tables. The 20% tip was $76 which was definitely not earned at all. The manager, assistant manager, shift manager, etc. NEVER came in to check on on us either. We would recommend checking out other locations for your event before deciding to have it at Mi Amigos.
