From Minnesota and have not found any good butchers until we went to Midwest meats. This is now our second time and between the staff (Jose and partner) educating us on different cuts of their meat along with their background. It was a wonderful experience! Ever since I found out about Midwestern Meats last year, I've visited whenever I had a need for high quality meat that wasn't readily available in the average grocery store. A couple of weeks ago I ordered some back bacon for a unique breakfast with my family. Proper back bacon isn't readily available in the US, so I was expecting something similar instead to be made from the same cut of pork. This place has the best ribeye steaks I have ever eaten, they were so tender I cut them with a fork. Very nice selection of meats, the people were great. If you want a really good BBQ, you have to come here. You won't be disappointed, guaranteed
