They charged me 52 dollars for a drink, a caramello, three tacos and a sonoran dog. I guess they feel they can charge what ever they want. This place is definitely not worth the money. Filabertos is a way better value than this place.

Update since prior visits! Food was delicious. Service was horrible. There was 6 of us, the place was dead 1 or 2 tables. We had a reservation. Service was slow and orders were not completely understood putting in in was time consuming. We ordered 3 sour creams for are orders each of couple was charged $2.50 for a dollop after we got the bill. On top of that each couple was charged a handling fee, for being there? We waited over 15 minutes for the bill to come and we had to go to the register which took a while to pay since the waitress was not available and they are short staffed. We all had a cocktails and we're never asked if we need a refill, how was the food? Obviously none of us will be going back. Mesa has a ton of Mexican Restraunts.

My family and I have been trying this location many times, but after today it may be awhile before we are ready to come back. We got in around 12:30 and there were empty dirty tables all over, stood there for around 15 minutes with several employees walking right past and no one said a word to us. Not a hello, no offering to put us on a waiting list, no acknowledgment what so ever. We watched three parties who were waiting well before us leave to go to another restaurant, then a passing waitress asked us how many. I stated 3 depending on the wait and she said she go check. I then watched her go to the kitchen, then back to a table of frustrated customers who then asked her if they could finally order. We ended up leaving to another restaurant. I hope this restaurant gets sufficient staff in the future because they really do have good food but they are losing many customers because of poor staffing.

The shell of my taco salad not fresh. It seems like the oil in the fryer was not hot enough. When I complained , the manager said nobody eats the shell and didn't offer other solutions.

Fast spacious everything for the chips and salsa with bean dip to the food(we kind of tried a whole lot of the menu) was phenomenal. Definitely a hidden gem. Wewill be back again and again. (Best shrimp tacos I’ve had from any Mexican restaurant in years)

Since 2009, I have loved this place. I can only eat there chicken, no one else's idk why or what they do to it.. they hooked me up with the chicken chimmy to help me go into labor with the hottest salsa. Baby Vivianna was born 27 hours later lol yes they gave me a plate for the hospital lol my son ( rip) Omar had his first job here. He didn't last long, but he loved it. The food is always amazing and fresh. The workers are amazing and so sweet.

I placed a phone order and when I got there, the items were not what I ordered. I explained I did not order the items and that I ordered different ones. They called the person who took my order to the register and he told me that I did order the incorrect item. There are four adults who can confirm I did not order the items since they were right by me when the order was placed. He insisted I ordered the incorrect item, then argued with me. I asked for the manager and Julio stated he is the manager. We used to eat there a few times each month. I am never going back! #poor customer service #bad restaurant

I would definitely eat here more often if they had some lunch specials. I highly recommend the shrimp ceviche tostada and aqua fresca. The staff are all very sweet and hardworking people.
