If you are looking for AUTHENTIC, moist, perfectly rolled, flavorful tamales, this is your ONLY place to go. Red beef is out of this world, sweet corn is always a yummy option. Every time I come in they are very respectful. From the mother, to the Son also I don't know who the other women that are there. But the tamales awesome.

The reason for the one star is for lack of PROFESSIONALISM!! On Saturday the 21st I was craving tamales and after reading such rave reviews I decided to give Mother's a try. I did give them a call to make sure there were tamales left as good tamales sell out quick but no one answered there wasn't even an answering machine, despite that I rounded up the troops and took a chance. When we got there THEY WERE CLOSED NO NOTE ON THE DOOR NOTHING!!! there were people inside but no one bothered to come to the door and explain what one happen (and yes they seen us) I do understand things happen and you need to close abruptly but to not put up a note of some kind or even have an answering machine to leave an out going message saying there was a problem would have been nice. LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM!!

Mothers Tamales were very good! I would recommend highly. I had not placed an order and they were sold out when I went on Christmas eve. I was so disappointed I think they felt sorry for me and they tried very hard to get me a dozen of whatever they had and I walked out with a dozen. I was so happy. . I will be back.

I've been here several times and really like the tamales. They are made fresh each day and they fi tun out. The lady who runs it is very nice and gives great service. I think she must be "Mother". I highly recommend this place.
