Ok....this used to be a great place for a fantastic pizza. We went here for my birthday, and my friends got me $100 in certificates. We used half of them, and during the night, the other half had a drink spilled on them. I was told "no big deal", they were still good. Today I go in and am told they are no good, because they re-issue gift certificates, and these won't work??? What restaurant re-uses the same paper gift certificates? Like I want a certificate someone else has had in his sweat soaked back pocket!!?? Look at the pic....each one is signed and obviously legit! Server was great, but manager totally blew it! This location just lost a long time customer! I would not recommend this location for food, or for gift certificates! THEY RE-USE THEM! That is gross!
It's a great local pub with a good beer selection. Food is decent and the service is usually good. The beer tours are fun.
Wow, the Whiskey Bleu burger was to die for. The beer selection was so varying and detailed it was like I was in craft beer heaven. I finally decided on the Duvel and it was strong and fantastic, also sampled the Cold Snap which was rumored to be the best beer on the menu. We got the Irish nachos and the potatoes were cooked perfectly, the Thai chili sauce was not too spicy not too sweet and paired well with the pickles. Definitely will be returning. Made my day with this lunch.
Really good pizza. Stopped in for dinner, everything was great except i was told most of the beers on the local list were sold out already. Not a big deal, the rest of it was top notch
Decent food. It's first and foremost a pizza place. They do a solid job with their pies and offer a variety of crusts. Half the place is essentially a sports bar. The other half is a traditional sit down pizza parlor. The selection of beers on tap is awesome, with 33 handles providing the full range of expected beer options and then some. Happy hour is decent. They do a great beer cheese for their pretzels as part of the taproom snacks.
