I had this server named Carolina And she was the best! she was nice, respectful, professional, very polite, and extremely hard working. She made my experience at Old Country Buffet great and when I go again I hope she can attend me. THANK YOU CAROLINAshe was also the most beautiful human being I have ever laid my eyes on

CLOSED I wish I could say something about this without leaving a star rating but the restaurant is closed due to COVID. I've been going to this location since I was a teenager and my family always loves it. It's way out of our way but worth the drive. Last night, I confirmed hours via Google which pulled from Yelp. We got there and everything was dark. I went to the corporate website and it said they're closed due to COVID. Super sucky after 20 mins on the road. We wound up driving to the Golden Corral on Cooper/ Baseline instead. It was ok, but I look forward to this place reopening and will likely bump them up to five stars after we get to go again.

Place is PERMANENTLY CLOSED. All equipment being auctioned off on 12/8/20. Employees were told that the store was closing again on 11/4 without any notice for a period of 2 weeks so "VitaNova Brands" can come up with a 'plan' to successfully re-open again. Well, 2 weeks have come and gone and now all the employees realize they will be without jobs since it is public knowledge the place is auctioning all of the equipment. No heads up given to them, this is how they find out. Not so much as a phone call. That's what your employees mean to you, then its best you just go out of business and lose YOUR hat, too. It is obvious the company is going under completely this time. 4 other stores in California closing and being auctioned off also. Avoid this parent company like the plague. Merry Christmas 'M&A Legend' Lee Sanders. You are not so legendary seeing as hundreds of employees will be losing their jobs. At least you will have a Merry Christmas, couldn't sacrifice that or your self allocated bonus, could you. Karma, all I gotta say.

My friend and I came across it because my bank was nextdoor to it. If you like a place with all kinds of foods then this is place you will. Foods from meat loaf to pizza or baked cod to enchiladas!!

This new version of the Old Country buffet feels like an experiment. Instead of scooping up your own food from the trays, you wait in line and then direct a counter server as to what you want. There is also table service, which allows the delivery of additional items without needing to revisit the serving line. Our table server appeared happy to help and was very accommodating. As diners left, their tables were cleared and sanitized. Seating was in alternate tables or booths, so social distancing was preserved. The food was typical for Old Country -- not bad, but not real good. In summary, it looks like the owners are trying hard to survive under Covid-19 conditions, the service was excellent, and the food was as usual.

Meh. They are open for dine in and carry out (you do not serve yourself anymore) and John the server could not have been nicer... however, I was "underwhelmed" by the quality and flavor of the food. Veggies were canned green beans, corn or carrots with non-existent seasoning, or frozen broccoli (which was good). Weekend nights sirloin steak is included in the buffet price weekday it is an extra $2.99 each serving. By the way they took "BUFFET" out of the name because of the negative connotation during Covid times. The steak was flavorful and cooked perfectly to my temperature preference, it is very surprising for inexpensive sirloin to not have a bunch of gristle running thru it. The meatballs were just frozen food service meatballs, the baked chicken looked old for 5:15 on a Friday. The cheese enchiladas were very good, very very mild, but still good flavor! There were only about 20 people eating the entire time my family and I were there, which is a far cry for up to an hour wait just to get in the door on a weekend night pre-Covid. I hope they survive, but they need to step up the quality for the price.

The waitstaff need to be retrained to be more personable with the new setup. They have the attitude of buffet staff and since this is now similar to a sit down restaurant they need to be more personable and refill drinks.

Restaurant is clean, atmosphere is relaxing and food is delicious. The staff is attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable. It's one of my favorite places to eat.

This place is nasty. If u could give 0 I would. The orange chicken was raw and the only thing that was good there was the 4ozs of soda they gave me.

Our server was kind, and the soda was crisp.. that's about the only good that had come out of our experience. I've been hassling my partner to make the drive for about two weeks since it had been a favorite childhood stop for comfort food. It was hard to accept it but we couldn't finish our plates, I was immediately disappointed... The food was dry, bland, either overcooked or undercooked. No seasoning, absolutely no flavor, it had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp since open. We just left and my partner already needs to rush for a restroom stop.. I'm going to miss that childhood nostalgia.. save your money and the trip.

They should of stayed closed instead of trying to open like they did. Everything is bland or dry. They ask you what you would like and dip it up for you.

My husband and I ate there yesterday. If you did not notice despite the website saying that it is pick up only. The cashier explained to me that their manager has been unable to change the website to show that you can eat inside. We were very happy with the food. I ate corn on the cob, roast beef, ham, mashed potatoes and turkey gravy, carrots, a toasted ham and cheese sandwich, a spoonful of a pasta salad, and a bowl of chicken noodle soup with broad noodles and celery, carrots and parsley in it. Everything was appropriate temperature and cooked perfectly although it was around 630 when we ate. Our service was very attentive. Also because I have very great difficulty walking they let us eat near the front door at a table that was designated for phone orders pick up. Everyone was the nicest possible and made it seamless to get your food. The restroom was very clean and stocked with appropriate paper. The last time we ate at a buffet was Golden Corral in Casa Grande about a week ago and service was ok but all meat was very dried out and we were unable to find hardly any meat to eat.

Best place ever. We eat here 4-5 times a week. Can't say enough good things about the food, the service. Thank you for being there for us!
