A few friends wanted to meet for lunch at Panera Bread in Mesa. The atmosphere was fast-casual, and the service was friendly and efficient. I tried the French Ciabatta Dipper and was pleasantly surprised — it was actually pretty tasty. My wife had a soup, and we noticed the other couple ordered the same thing we did but received a free French baguette, while we didn’t. We didn’t say anything at the time, but after we left, it was clear it was an oversight on Panera’s part....
Ordered with the self order. Was very easy to navigate. A friend and I ordered the bread bowl with broccoli and cheese and it was excellent. The flavored teas were great and refreshing. Highly recommend.
This was my first time trying this place out. My husband had a spinach strawberry salad. Some of the strawberries were pink almost white with very little taste. I got the Southwest salad thinking I like spicy foods. It was a very large salad. It was the blandest salad I've ever had. I know things are super expensive right now but two salads, two soft drinks were $40. That's crazy. It probably cost $2 to make the salad. Not impressed.
