I have been a big fan of Panera since day one, but like everything else in life, over the years, Panera has changed. Items became more expensive and for a time, the menu became smaller. It appears now the menu is expanding with more different price points. Interesting concept that I encountered at Panera, buy certain sandwiches & soup, you are unable to make any changes, and you can purchase the meal at a lower price point. I don't know if this is temporary, but certainly welcome.One of my issues with value is that some of the baked goods are over-priced.

Panera is usually pretty good. I should have looked closer at the ingredients of the bacon avocado melt! SO DARN SALTY!! Whoa sodium! Firstly, I was expecting there to be turkey on it (totally missed that in the description - I was in a rush) but it’s just crumbled bacon, cheese, avocado, southwest sauce and everything bagel seasoning on sourdough. The everything seasoning and bacon make it sooooo salty it’s nearly inedible. I feel my body retaining water already. What a bummer, I was looking forward to a good sandwich.

First time coming here in a while, and I will not becoming back anytime soon. I ordered the Spicy Take Chicken Sandwich that came with potato chips that was almost $14. The sandwich was smaller than my fist. The food is way over priced, this is another place I am crossing of my list because the cost is ridiculous!

I ordered a Mediterranean salad it was maid with spring greens it was was bad. I had the same salad last week and it was made with iceberg and romaine lettice and it was great!

I haven't been to a Panera since I left Los Angeles 8 years ago so coming into one was really exciting for me. I had a terrible case of the flu so I was really looking for some homemade style soup and I remembered Panera had the best cure for the cold soup. I ordered broccoli and cheese soup with my ham and Gouda cheese sandwich. The soup was absolutely fantastic nice cooked bite size pieces of broccoli and the cheese base was super flavorful. My ham and cheese sandwich had nice ham to cheese ratio however where I was seriously disappointed was the spread that was put on the yummy bread it really killed the sandwich so terrible that next time I'll just ask for my sandwich dry. My boyfriend loved his avocado sandwich on white bread Panera has always had the best bread and soup so I'm not going to let terrible spread discourage me from coming back I know they have great salads so there's lots of other options. The customer service at this location is ok the poor kids however seem robotic working here so hopefully they're not overworked either way I'll try Panera again maybe just a different location here in PHX.

I know this is going to sound petty to some. But I just have to say this. Every time you pull up to the drive-thru to order, there's the most annoying recording that says (Do you have a My Panera card). NO I don't and will you please stop asking!! Jesus just delete that damn recording!! It's awful. I'm pretty sure that if people wanted a My Panera card they would just get one. Please don't torture the rest of us with it!!One a positive note, I have to say that the kids that work there are really sweet and friendly. They do a good job in the drive-thru and I am grateful for that.

My favorite is the duet. For 6.99 get a half a sandwich loaded with meet. A cup of soup the tomatoes basil is my favorite with seasoned croutons.
