First time stopping there glad we did. Food is awesome and the barbecue sauce was perfect. The only thing is there wasn’t enough sauce lol I will definitely get more the next time. Had the sides mac & cheese, very good. Had the beans great taste. And the owner was super friendly and gave my wife some of the there coleslaw and she thought it was very good so thank you for that. I appreciate a good business coming to town.

This place is amazing. I am so happy they opened here in AJ. I almost don’t want to post a review to keep this goodness to myself lol but they deserve it. Staff is great also. I have had bbq in many states and this place definitely takes the top. Mouth watering!!!!! Don’t wait til late in the day they are so good they sell out.

First time here, wife and i had brisket plate with two sides. Brisket had a good flavor but was tough, had to chew a lot, very mediocre. Good slaw, beans and potato salad just OK, spent $50, not my kind of BBQ.

We are full-time rv'ers and love sampling BBQ on our travels. I'm SO glad my husband discovered Papa Bears BBQ. Amazing! Best pulled pork sandwich we've ever had! Portion requires you eat it with a fork. Pork melts in your mouth and the bun is super fresh. The slaw and potato salad were terrific as well.

Went in and tried this place with my pops. The hostess taking our order went above and beyond! If you've never had Texas BBQ before, try their papa bear platter. Brisket was phenomenal, and what blew me away was the sausage. Don't miss out on the honey mustard either!
