Iconic place, yummy 😋
They’ve gone downhill unfortunately… they call themselves fish & chips like that would be their main prize entree but fish was spongy and dry, and the tartar sauce that you had to buy separately was warm. Wasn’t the first time we weren’t happy, but gave them another try, and it’s our last. It’s consistently bad!
Rider was super helpful and so was the rest of the crew. The food was perfect. Shrimp is not overcooked nice & juicy. Burritos are always a hit. No pictures the food didnt stand a chance!
ere's the revised professional version:
**A Long-Standing Local Establishment with Mixed Offerings**
I have been a loyal patron of this establishment for many years, having frequented it since my childhood. While I previously enjoyed their breaded and fried shrimp, I have since made the personal decision to avoid this menu item due to health concerns regarding shrimp and potential contaminants.
The restaurant's signature fry sauce and special sauce remain exceptional, and their french fries consistently meet expectations. However, I found their burgers to be disappointing and not particularly memorable.
The establishment excels in customer service, with staff members who are consistently friendly and attentive. The restaurant's unique aesthetic and distinctive atmosphere add character to the dining experience.
It's worth noting that this location operates as a cash-only business, which can be inconvenient for some customers. While prices have increased over time, they remain reasonable considering current market conditions.
Overall, this restaurant offers a nostalgic dining experience with standout sauces and reliable service, though some menu items may not appeal to all diners.
It's an old school fish and chips joint. It feels the same now as it did back in the 70s and that's a good thing
This is 2nd or 3rd time at this location. Each time gets worse. I remember before food wasn't as good as other locations, which I used to day was the best fish and shrimp great too, but today long brown hair on fish. I also noticed the portion of fish is quite smaller and did not taste like the same fish at all.
The special sauce I always said they don't give enough and should have ketchup for fries.
I get cash is king and saves expenses, but seems your prices should compensate for cc. I don't see you passing the saving to the customer at all with shrinkflation.
For the record, I was going to stop 4 times this year, but don't carry cash on me too often
Got suckered in to the good reviews. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back. It’s not even fish and chips, it’s just cheap frozen seafood. Don’t even get me started on the homeless hounding customers.

Worse one I've ever been too the young lady was messing around and not really paying attention to my order my was flat my burger seems like it was throw together
Ugh. Processed rectangular "fish" and bland uninspired fries. The only appealing thing is the price but you definitely get what you pay for. Can't understand why anyone would line up for this.

Got the fish and chips, and shrimp and chips. Both were really good, sauce awesome as always. And not bad prices, which is kind of rare these days. Pretty quick too, little busy when we got there but not too bad.

Very consistent quality. Not the best product in this world, but not the most expensive price. Everything is a la carte including the ketchup and tartar sauce

Would be five star but the packaging for take out is terrible. Food and service was good but juggling a baby and paper plates was difficult.

Mediocre at best fish and chips. Fish was "fish stick" like. Fries and onion rings were very bland.
They only serve a cocktail sauce vs tarter sauce which would be more appropriate for fish and chips.
