Pizzicata Pizzeria Ristorante Mesa

Let me start by saying, I youst to manage a gourmet Cole oven pizzeria, so I'm a bit of a pizza snob.
This pizzeria is by far the best pizza I've had to date! Fresh ingredients, crispy/ tender crust and the cheese......OMG......soooooo good. This is definitely our new go to!
I also want to thank the manager for greeting me immediately, with a smile, and being so friendly. I will be recommending yall to everyone!

Wow!,ordered through door dash. Fantastic!,probably even better warm and right out of the oven. My son had the prosciutto fig and honey walnut pizza. I had a small hawaiian with fresh cut pineapple. I'm just very impressed. We will be ordering again. Want to try the one with pistachios. A bit pricy, but holy crap. THIS place is actually worth it. Glad we finally got one in mesa. Fantastic true Italian brick oven pizza. We had the Napoli crust.

We had dinner here after a fun round of golf and it exceeded our expectations! The food was excellent and our waiter Zach was awesome! We will definitely be back and request to be in Zach’s section!

I love good authentic Italian food. This place was absolutely fantastic. The food was wonderful. Our server Serina was an absolute pleasure. I highly recommend this place for everyone who want real authentic Italian cooking. I only went there because I was visiting my sister and her husband and we decided to check it out. I will definitely go back when I visit again.

Both times that we have stopped by for a drink and appetizer, we have had a great experience. The last time, Zack the bartender, was especially outstanding. He catered to our requests, offered suggestions and was professional and friendly. We sat at the bar and were able to see how he interacted with other guests - he is great. Highly recommend Pizzacata for a drink and an appetizer, ask for Zack!

Pizzicata in Mesa - next to painted mountain golf resort is definitely worth checking out. We came today after playing and it was delicious. We sat at the brick oven pizza bar and watched them make their pies. The owner was out and about mingling and brought us out delicious fresh bread and pizza samples. Staff was trained to be very attentive like a real Italian restaurant. We ate the eggplant parmigiana and gnocchi Gorgonzola and they were amazing. The pizza sample sauce was so fresh and it was delicious. The tiramisu for desert hit the spot. They make everything from scratch here and it was all very tasty. If you’re looking for great Italian in the East valley I’d strongly recommend giving it a try.

One of the best Italian meals we have had. New management and chefs, and you can really tell they care about the quality of their food and environment. A Must for good food and atmosphere!

We had a great dining experience for our date night at Pizzicata in Mesa, AZ. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. When we arrived, it wasn't too crowded, and service was prompt. However, as the restaurant got busier, the service pace slowed a bit, but it wasn't too much of an issue.

Our waitress was fantastic and offered several great recommendations, making our first visit feel easy. The drinks were enjoyable, with the Limoncello featuring some homemade ingredients, which added a nice touch. I had the Travolta pizza, which had a perfect balance of chew and crispiness with excellent flavor. My wife ordered the Carbonara, and it was exceptional – well-seasoned and delicious.

We also tried the arancini, which was good, but a little lacking in flavor. Thankfully, the sauce that accompanied it made up for that. For dessert, we had the flourless cake, which was a pleasant surprise. It had more of a molten texture than the dense type we’re used to, but it was still delicious.

Overall, a solid meal with great service and a few standout dishes. The patio atmosphere was great as well. We will definitely be back with our kids.

Best Neapolitan pizza in Mesa! Delizioso!! Glad we finally checked this place out. Serena was very welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to go back and enjoy the other delicious sounding appetizers and pastas!

Loved eating at a place where the cooks and staff are speaking Italian, had an at home atmosphere and very welcoming. The meatballs were delicious and moist, the bread had the perfect amount of charring. Would have given a full 5 stars, but was somewhat disappointed they did not have the the deep fried flower blossoms available. A relaxing atmosphere, the espresso martini definitely delivered, they did not skimp out on the alcohol. Looking forward to coming here again and bringing the kids to try the pizza.
