Never got to place an order, after being impressed with the smell of the cooking food while picking up as delivery driver, decided to check them out. Called to place an order for pickup and was treated so rudely that i decided not to even order. I guess the listed side options in their menu aren't actually options, so of you don't want carbs (rice and beans) with your chicken don't bother coming here, cuz if that's not what you want then they treat you like garbage.

Amazing hot chicken sandwiches!!! Great flavor, the sauce is amazing and chicken is juicy. What more do you want in a hot chicken sandwich??? The staff is always welcoming and accommodating and your order is ready in a blink of an eye! Can't go wrong!!!

Be careful with the spiciness level. It is spicy, no joking. And I eat a lot of spicy food. I was drinking water for every bite, I chose the spicy level before the maximum one.

For what it is, it’s a good spot. ????The chicken is really good and flavorful. The grill in the back is always going so it’s nice to see the flame doing it’s magic. The tacos are really good, highly recommend. The chicken is the best, the pork is the runner up and the asada would be my last choice. It’s called “pollo picante” for a reason. The chicken really is the star here. I usually order the taco combo. The vampiro combo is good too. They serve chili’s, cucumber and pickled onions with the meal and they are the perfect compliment to the tacos. I’ve never ordered the burritos here but they’re available. Order ahead of time because they kinda take forever. And even if you do order ahead, they still take forever. -1 star for slow service but good food otherwise.
The chicken flavor and rice are great. They do take a while to cook sometimes, so I'd recommend calling ahead or knowing you'll have to wait for a bit. Not too big of a deal though.

This was my first time trying pollo picante and it was delicious. I'm a tiny little woman so I could barely reach things and the kind woman in the front helped me work the machine to pay for my food which was so nice. The chicken and the steak was hot, moist and juicy. That pink pickled onion thing was out of this world, my hubby ate all of his and started devouring mines off my plate. Also the chicken and steak tasted even better for left over, Idk how the chicken and steak stayed so juicy after I microwaved it the next day, but either way I will be back to enjoy their amazing food.

Awesome food with great flavor. Also very clean and the smell of the charcoal and the chicken being grilled really excites your appetite. I highly recommend this place and will be going every time I’m in Mesa!

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants now. Everything was perfectly seasoned and I mean everything. It is hard to find a restaurant where everything is made correctly. Even the salsa was awesome. I highly recommend this place. I will be visiting them every time I’m in Mesa.
