The food here is unbelievably good. The staff made sure we were good and it smells so good here.

We will be back to try more dishes and bring more people with us.

First impression is I will never come back. The kid working the register was very uninterested in helping me then told me no chickens for an hour at dinner time. I literally drove an hour to get here because the guys at work bragged about this place but I will not come back

I found this place while I was looking for another restaurant. Completely by surprise. I decided to stop and check this place out. I’m always excited for a restaurant. I have never tried serving food that I love. Tacos Al carbon. Walking in it’s a small little corner restaurant. But right away I can smell the food. Reminds me of home. I ordered two Carne Asada tacos on flour tortilla and two Carne Asada tacos on corn tortilla. Always gotta try the corn tortillas. I also got curious and wanted to try the chipotle chicken burrito.

I did not stay any. I took it to go. The tacos are big restaurant style not street style. But they taste like street style tacos. That al carbon flavor is right there!!! The meat was cooked well and seasoned to perfection. I easily scarfed away those four tacos. The burrito itself is pretty delicious. There’s chicken beans and rice with fresh pico inside. Absolutely Yum. I was pleasantly surprised and this stop. Definitely made my Friday

Really lacking flavor and zero spice to any of their salsas.

Chicken is really good; beef is okay.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Pollo La Choya. Despite clearly stating my allergy concerns, the staff completely ignored my request, which is not only unprofessional but also dangerous. On top of that, I had to wait an entire hour for my food, only to be served pre-cooked chicken that had clearly been sitting out for hours. The quality was poor, and it felt like they didn’t care about customer satisfaction at all. It’s clear they don’t value American customers, and I certainly won’t be returning. Definitely not worth the wait or the money.

I had a terrible experience at Pollo Lachuya. I noticed they were reheating precooked chicken and asked for a fresh one. They told me it would take 40 minutes, and I was fine with that. However, the staff just stood there and laughed at me during the wait. After 40 minutes, they gave me a chicken that was still lukewarm and tasteless, definitely not fresh. The whole experience was unprofessional, and the food was disappointing. I won't be coming back.

It smelled so good outside, so we stopped in to grab dinner. People were nice and the place looked decent inside. It was a bit pricey. The chicken was bland and dry. Tasted like it had been in the fridge for a few days, tossed in the microwave to heat. It was the first time we had eaten there, and likely will not try it again.

Absolutely delicious pollo and carne asada. Have had each of these burritos many times. Clean, open kitchen. Get an extra for next day leftovers. You won't be sorry!

Ordered nachos. I don't remember if I explicitly said "Carne Asada," but I know I didn't say "chicken." I wanted the Carne Asada Nachos. I got the chicken.
Food took forever to come out, despite me being the only in-restaurant customer who didn't have their food. I think they were doing take-out/Doordash orders.
I got a salsa with it. I asked if it was the only one they had, and was told it was the one that comes with it. I have no idea what else they have, and the salsa tasted okay, but I usually go for hot red salsas, and I had no options. It was quite mild. I was able to get a second salsa upon request.
The meat was amazing, despite it not being the one I wanted. The rest of the nachos were pretty solid, nothing too crazy to say about them either way.

This place has good food . However, I’ve only observed him smile And be cordial at individuals who were either Latino or Caucasian and I’ve been here several times thinking it would be different each time. I keep thinking the service would change however it’s been a year now and the response that I’ve seen with him and others that were not Latino and Caucasian, including myself is different no matter how much you smile and say hello sometimes he won’t even greet you. he’ll just stand there and stare at you, which makes it complicated because I like the food but I also want to keep my dignity
