Food was excellent but cashier seemed annoyed. Tables were dirty and sticky. You honestly overlook service and atmosphere because of the food.

I absolutely love Pollo La Chuya! It feels like everywhere you go these days, it’s all about fried chicken — so finding delicious, flavorful grilled chicken here is such a treat. The seasoning is perfect, the chicken is always juicy, and you can really taste the freshness. It’s become one of my favorite spots, and I keep coming back for that amazing grilled flavor I can’t find anywhere else.

The food here is unbelievably good. The staff made sure we were good and it smells so good here.
We will be back to try more dishes and bring more people with us.

First impression is I will never come back. The kid working the register was very uninterested in helping me then told me no chickens for an hour at dinner time. I literally drove an hour to get here because the guys at work bragged about this place but I will not come back

I found this place while I was looking for another restaurant. Completely by surprise. I decided to stop and check this place out. I’m always excited for a restaurant. I have never tried serving food that I love. Tacos Al carbon. Walking in it’s a small little corner restaurant. But right away I can smell the food. Reminds me of home. I ordered two Carne Asada tacos on flour tortilla and two Carne Asada tacos on corn tortilla. Always gotta try the corn tortillas. I also got curious and wanted to try the chipotle chicken burrito.
I did not stay any. I took it to go. The tacos are big restaurant style not street style. But they taste like street style tacos. That al carbon flavor is right there!!! The meat was cooked well and seasoned to perfection. I easily scarfed away those four tacos. The burrito itself is pretty delicious. There’s chicken beans and rice with fresh pico inside. Absolutely Yum. I was pleasantly surprised and this stop. Definitely made my Friday

Really lacking flavor and zero spice to any of their salsas.
Chicken is really good; beef is okay.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at Pollo La Choya. Despite clearly stating my allergy concerns, the staff completely ignored my request, which is not only unprofessional but also dangerous. On top of that, I had to wait an entire hour for my food, only to be served pre-cooked chicken that had clearly been sitting out for hours. The quality was poor, and it felt like they didn’t care about customer satisfaction at all. It’s clear they don’t value American customers, and I certainly won’t be returning. Definitely not worth the wait or the money.

I had a terrible experience at Pollo Lachuya. I noticed they were reheating precooked chicken and asked for a fresh one. They told me it would take 40 minutes, and I was fine with that. However, the staff just stood there and laughed at me during the wait. After 40 minutes, they gave me a chicken that was still lukewarm and tasteless, definitely not fresh. The whole experience was unprofessional, and the food was disappointing. I won't be coming back.
