In town for work meetings. Great spot. Sat outdoors to enjoy Arizona weather. Server very attentive and recommended a nice beer. Food was great.

Came to get sushi to have a picnic at a nearby park. Restaurant wasn’t very busy, we ordered 2 rolls edamame and gyoza. We sat for 45 minutes waiting. Absolutely ridiculous. Nobody came to check on us or offer anything to make up for the terrible service. By the time we finally got our to-go order we would have had time to sit somewhere else and eat there. Our plan was also ruined because by the time we got our food out it was dark and we had missed the sunset which was the entire point of our picnic. I have been to other locations of this restaurant and will not be returning to this specific location. Horrible service, inattentive staff. Not worth it. Our bill was also $75 for the previously mentioned food. We could have gone anywhere else and it would have been half.

The past two times we have eaten there, the manager walks out at the end of dinner & asks you to write a Google or Yelp review on the spot as you’re eating dinner. He has a QR code to scan. Then he goes in to another membership/birthday offer they have. Creating this very awkward sales pitch situation as you are trying to eat or leave. he’s too dumb to take the hint of “no thank you” multiple times. He’s very persistent & you leave with a very awkward feeling.
RA, keep your managers away from the patrons.

this past monday my family and i came to ra to celebrate my sister’s 13th birthday and it was the worst experience i’ve ever had at a restaurant.
i work at a restaurant myself and try to be understanding, but my visit was so horrible that i have to leave a review—also because there was no apology offered for the lack of service by the server or the manager. to start, we were seated for about 25 minutes before we even got water. 15-20 minutes following our waters being dropped, she came and asked us for our appetizer orders, and we also put in our entree orders as we had already been waiting for around 40 minutes. the server didn’t offer us her name once throughout our visit, but we were seated at a larger half booth near the restrooms. 20 minutes after we put our food order in, she came back to let us know something we ordered was out and asked if we wanted anything else but did not apologize for the wait. this is the closest we got during the whole visit to us being “checked on”. 20 minutes later, the server and one other person dropped our food. she had switched my mom and i’s food, so we just switched it ourselves. this would have been fine, but then the server butted in and said “they’re the same”, to which i replied and told her that i had ordered salmon and sushi and my mom had gotten sashimi and chicken katsu. she then said, “oh.. anyways…”. her attitude was flippant from the moment she had “greeted” us, there was not an ounce of hospitality in her body and i feel sorry for anyone coming here and expecting to get good service, especially if they’re celebrating a special event as we were. at the end of our visit, it took her a while to drop the bill. when she finally did, she had forgotten to take off the item that was unavailable. we waited for about 15 minutes with no sign of her, so i had to call over a manager and let him know. he didn’t offer an apology, and that was how our visit ended. i understand that restaurants can get busy and issues can arise in both the front and back of house, but the lack of communication and hospitality during this visit is making us consider never coming back to ra again—we do know that we are avoiding at least this location from now on.

These people have poor customer service. No one was up front. I stood there for 15 minutes, and the servers walked right past me and didn't even acknowledge my presence! I spent over $50 there & you can't bother to greet me?!

Usually I have a Great experience coming here. Maybe it was just a one off day we got there we were seated quickly which was nice. Our server seemed cool at first but when it came to ordering her attitude was terrible. Me and my fiance were not to familiar on what to get so when we asked her she seemed irritated that we didn’t know the full menu with the prices (she also didn’t know) she didn’t bring our food out all together we completely finished part of our food and waited until my fiance went to remind her we still had food we were waiting on she cut him short and said oh yeah it’s coming right now.. then we waited even longer for our food and when she finally brought it out the rice was mushy and we just asked her for the check. It was the server in the bar area where the high top tables are I think her name is Shanna … I haven’t had an experience like this here before at this restaurant . Maybe just an off day but def shouldn’t take it out on the customers

First time in. I give 3 stars, we came for happy hour in the evening. Food took a long time for it to be a fairly slow. The server only came when dropping off food and then never saw him again, even though we desperately needed water a couple times. The manager did stop by in the beginning of our dinning and then didn’t see him much either. I will say the food was good. We orders nigiri salmon and tuna 4/5. Gyoza 2/5. Rainbow roll 4/5. Spicy crunch roll 3/5 and chicken skewers 4/5. Although the food was appealing I’m not sure I’ll be back.

My husband and I love coming here and have been for several years. Is there more authentic sushi places in town? Of course. Do we come here for their spot on authenticity? No. The food is great regardless and they put a fun modern spin which I enjoy! We are happy with rolls they offer and the unique specialty rolls and appetizers. I love the fried rice as well. Food always tastes delicious. Everything is always fresh, comes out quick and service is wonderful! We went last night for my daughter’s 16th birthday because she requested to go. Our server Skylar was on point with everything! He was quick efficient and courteous. Thanks for the fun night my daughter enjoyed it! Totally forgot to mention it was her birthday, oops! 😅
