My family and I used to go to the restaurant prior to its new ownership and the food was amazing and very authentic. I went there a couple of times with my sister with the new ownership and everything seem to be good. But I recently ordered food for delivery and nothing tasted good. While the delivery through uber eats was fait seemed like I got whatever was from the day before the portions for the beans I had more sauce than beans, The pastellas did not taste the same at all from what they tasted like originally. Arrow con gandules Did not taste like it was authentic and was very salty. The pork chops were very salty and yes I ordered forty dollars worth of food and was very displeased. I know the owners are great people but I think they need to get back to traditional puerto rican food and preparation like you were serving it in your own home.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for years and the food is amazing always, and the workers are nice, but today they charged me $1.02 to take my food to go..? I’ve never seen a restaurant do this, and they did not tell me that it was an extra charge, it’s not that much money but still ridiculous lol.

The best Puerto Rican food in az hands down beats the other spots out in phoenix. Plus it's in a nice part of town no druggies walking by. The food is top tier reminds of eatting back home.or many trips to Puerto Rico. And they got the good hot sauce. If you know you know

I've been here a number of times and the food is always excellent. It has all the classics you expect from a Puerto Rican restaurant plus lots of pastries. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

Love this place - food, courtesy and atmosphere is 5 star. Eating the food took me to another time and another place. Made a new memory today🫶

Never eating there again. Pernil and Carne Frita were very greasy. My family and I all got food poisoning. I usually don’t write reviews. Second time we try this place out and the first time we tried it we had a similar experience not really sure why we gave it a second chance. Very disappointed.

Sorry but this place is a big disappointment. I asked for alcapuria and was raw in the middle I went and returned and he made another one but he made it worse cutting the alcapuria in three pieces which is the biggest mistake all grease and I told him I didn’t want it to throw it in the garbage. He instead of refunding my money back give me a beef Pattie wish was all grease as well. It’s very sad good people but need to do better

Hey guys, here we go again. I absolutely hate leaving reviews over the years. Especially knowing that it's either going to be because of something extremely good or something extremely terrible! I was looking for a place to eat with authentic Puerto Rican food and came across this beautiful restaurant. order 4 pasteles ready to eat. First off, There was so much fat around the meat that was in them you couldn't help but notice! and it had a little bit of an old taste to it...... something was a bit off with the taste and these super fatty pieces of meat. They were already kind of falling apart but as I opened the third one, there was a long string of hair cooked right on in it🤢🤢🤢 and well, that led me here four pasteles and a drink for a little over $24 only to have hair in my food and it taste.. old.😐 It's a beautiful place and maybe the rest of their menu doesn't have hair in it and does not taste old

The food, as always, deliciosa! I went there as soon as I arrived in town from Nevada; tradicional arroz con gandulas & pull pork. I also ordered rellenos de papas, pastelillos & alcapurias, which i had for dinner, and breakfast the next day.
