I really really wanted to like the food here because the ambiance and decor are awesome.
I feel like this place could really have a gem on their hands with better food and more choices.
So, on to the reasons why I likely will never come back: the food was such a disappointment. Let's start with the salsa. The red mild salsa lacked flavor and seasoning. It tasted like watery tomatoes. The green salsa was obnoxiously sweet and just plain gross.
My chili relleno was so bland. It lacked seasoning and the red sauce again tasted watered down. The 'Spanish rice' tasted like plain white rice...it was nice and fluffy, but zero taste.
My husband's shrimp quesadilla also lacked seasoning and flavor. Do you see a trend here?
On a positive note, the refried beans were good. Nicely seasoned (so I know they have spices...I think they're just afraid to use them!) The chicken taquito appetizer with cheese queso dip was decent but not great. The server was attentive and nice.
I really hope they make some changes in the kitchen because as I mentioned, this place has great potential, but for almost 70.00 (not including tip), I expect a lot more than what l got.

I felt the food was fresh and hot a little on the salty side but very flavorful.
On the team was very nice the atmosphere was amazing. The restaurant was very clean. Had a great experience! My husband couldn't stop eating his very large pork tostada but it ultimately won and he'll be taking it home. 😂

The service was really great. A good variety of food in a warm atmosphere, if in the neighborhood, give him a try.
