Not really sure what happened to this place, waited almost 30 minutes for a server. When asking for a server I was treated with attitude.

Shrimp tacos were amazing as were the other meals at our table. Jorge was our waiter and he was polite and personable! We’ve been coming to this place for years and we’re from Michigan. First place we go to when we eat out. Great place and highly recommend!!

Waited 40 mins to get a table waited another 40 and didn’t even get to talk to a server. Meanwhile the tables all around me had servers. Worst experience ever I ended up just leaving I couldn’t even get a water or anything.

Went there on "99 cent margarita" night, took 45 minutes to get our drinks, and the food came out cold and drinks were served after we got our meals. I coordinate a birthday party and we had a party of 12. It was embarrassing for me to have suggested this restaurant! Will not be going back there!

Food was not hot. The greeter was not very quick to seat us and we got no water so asked the busboy. The waitress was very nice. We waited though for over 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. She seemed to be the only waitress for the tables. Sorry but it could be so much better.

Service was by far the worst I have ever seen. We sat for 20 minutes before a server ever came and asked if we needed Chips and salsa or drinks. 10 minutes later the chips arrived. We had to ask 3 times what happened to the drinks.Food was not what I ordered and it was just bearly warm. The refried beans were not even hot enough to melt the shredded cheese they put on top of them. When we asked for our check, the server that was supposed to be taking orders at our table decided to go to another table and start taking orders. We had to go to the front counter and have someone find it.If you value your time and money, go somewhere else. I think taco bell has this place beat hands down.

Love this family owned restaurant. Loved it years ago before they had fire, and it's just as great, now. A little pricey for Mexican, but worth it!

The service, wow. Not worth the 99 cent margs on Mondays.

We went on a Friday night because the exterior looked amazing and we wanted to try it out. We were sat quickly but not attended to for quite some time despite the restaurant being nearly empty. We got margaritas, which arrived quickly but were very watered down and overpriced. After drinks arrived, we ordered entrees and it took over 40 minutes before we asked the server to check on our food. Upon asking, the kitchen had closed a few minutes prior and it took another 25 minutes or so to actually get plates in front of us. Once it did, we thought it was rushed out and didn't taste very good. We left the restaurant hungry with no remaining patience and a grossly thinner wallet. It really is a shame, as the place seemed to have a lot of potential from the outside looking in.Update: a day and a half later I have food poisoning.

We came on a Monday. It was busy. They seemed short staffed. My food came out cold and shrimp were way over cooked as if my plate sat in the window forever. They promptly replaced it with something else a fish taco...it was ok. Kinda disappointed but they were nice.

This place has changed since last eating here years ago. Took my family out for dinner last night and I called ahead and was told 30-45 minutes for a table. Arrived to a nearly empty restaurant, maybe 20 people dining. We were seated within 15 minutes of arriving. We were greeted by our server and chips and salsa came out relatively quick. Drinks took longer than expected to come out for soft drinks and water.Food for our table took about 45 minutes to come out after ordering. I was told by our server that they were short staffed that night. Food came out warm, only a few plates were hot. Some dishes were dry and unappetizing. The tamales tasted as if they were previously frozen and hard. I didn't finish my enchiladas and neither did 2 of my kids with their meals.I won't be returning to the Tia Rosas again in the future which is sad to say because I have good memories coming here with family.

How time has change from two years ago. Two years ago I left five stars. Now, unfortunately, one star. The worse services I’ve received in a long time. And I don’t blame the server. They’re a server, bartender, busboy. They do it all. Their tables are inside and out on the patio. Running everywhere. Floors were a mess. Food was not fresh. Drinks were not drinks. And no management insight.I am not basing my review on this one visit. My brother had his wife birthday here last year and we received the same services. No más for us.

We love the shredded beef quesadilla meal. Salsas are so good too. Unique atmosphere. We eat here every February when we come and stay in the area for a few weeks. Don't hesitate to eat a meal here.

How I wish this place was still Rosa’s! The food was good but we had the worst margaritas we have ever had (and we have had margaritas in the UK). We told the waitress that they were tasteless so she brought us each a shot of tequila to add to them but even with that, they were awful. I may as well have taken 18.00 and thrown it in the garbage. Service was good but the building and grounds are in bad shape. It’s such a shame, as this place used to be lovely. Seriously, though, how do you make those margaritas? It must take quite a bit of effort to make them this way.
