Red Lobster

Our waitress was great! The food was very good. The experience leading up to our meal—not so great. We made a reservation for 4:45, showed up at 4:40. The hostess greeted us, started to seat us, then I told her we had a reservation. She clicked a button, said, “Oh, have a seat.” Then moved on. Weird! No biggie. I'm rarely in a rush. We told her we'd wait at the bar. There was only one guest at the bar—already waited on—and the only bartender was also the service bartender. Okay. No biggie. I'm used to that. She threw an “I'll be with you soon,” over her shoulder. No real greeting. Finally, she finishes her task, and then she walks right past us. No comment. She starts talking to someone behind the wall. That's enough for me. As soon as we stand up, she comes around, “Oh... I can help you now.” Nope! We're still waiting for our table in an almost-empty restaurant on NYE, so I can't imagine it's because they are short-staffed. We were just about to leave when the manager shows up and walks us to our table, so we stayed. After all, Red Lobster has great shrimp. We had the firecracker shrimp for an appetizer and the coconut shrimp for dinner. Both were perfect. We both had the happy hour drink specials. The Pinot noir was pretty good, the LiT, not so much. While we like Red Lobster, the prices are getting a bit too high for the lackluster experience. Even the dining room is blah. I'm wondering if it's just too old.

Came here for our anniversary & it was a great experience. Deb was our waitress & she did phenomenal! Made sure we were always well taken care of, drinks & bread were always full, plus she was super friendly. We will definitely be back & requesting her in the future :)

Food was exceptional at this spot. Our server was the best and we had a 5 topper with a 3 yr old. Our server was very attentive. We came in late afternoon.

Received excellent service from Rene. She's been our server many times and has always provided an excellent experience. Highly recommend asking to be sat in her section when you go to Red Lobster.
