Well three of my friends and I decided not to listen to the reviews. We went Saturday night. And had a very nice time. New owner is lovely, friendly and made us feel very comfortable, The meals were very good. Nothing bad at all. The lemon meringue pie was also delicious. We are planning on going back. Two of us got liver and onions. Delicious. One had chicken tenders other pork

I opted for the restaurant keeping in view the ratings available but I experienced that these were not commensurate with the actual experience. I found orders placed were not adhered, utensils like spoon, glasses and fork were dirty.

Vegetarian options: Despite opting for and repeated caution to ensure no meat in vegetarian option my wife was served with bacon in the soup, meat slice on veg sandwich

I didn't eat there but while picking up an order I observed. I walked in and three waitresses looked at me and said nothing for 3 minutes. Then a waitress Dallas was rude when i told her i was there to pick up an order. There was a man who sat and said he had been waiting a while after he signed the sign in sheet (which they never used). There was one nice waitress with glasses. I waited for my customers order for 30 minutes. Then observed a man who got up from his table and asked where his food was and then asked for it to go because he waited to long. Service is slow and there needs to be a nicer wait staff. They need to pay attention to their surroundings because no one should have to sit and wait on their food or to be seated. They need more cooks since their service is slow. I won't be eating there because of observing what I did. This place has gone down hill since switching owners. I hope that the owners take note and make changes so it can be an enjoyable place to eat again.

Update 2024: new owners, new personnel, still great food and service, large servings so come hungry. The kitchen is fast! Original review Nov 2018: Excellent food and great service, they lived up to their high Google ranking. Looks like we found a new place to eat.

They had good, standard breakfast food. I felt like I just had not good customer service and was kind of rushed when attended to then left alone for a long time. But it was a neat restuarant!

We love this place. It’s just down the road, so it’s a staple. Delicious, generous breakfasts. Filling, home style dinners. Nothing will blow you away, but the food is good and the service is top notch.

Absolutely loved our server, Haliey! She was super polite, funny, and very helpful. The food was great too, I highly recommend the mini breakfast if you don't want to feel stuffed. The piggy skillet with corn Tortillas was also great!

My wife and I went there for dinner last Friday night 9/27/24. On our way to Kansas concert special night out for us.
The first thing that went wrong was brought her the wrong drink order. She ordered ice coffee gave her glass of coke.
We got that fixed then ordered our dinner.
We both ordered the chicken fried steak dinner. 45 minutes later they brought us burned fried chicken pieces and cold corn out of a can. Wrong food order. We did not have time for them to Cook our first order. So my take on this place they don't listen to customer's orders and have horrible cooks. If that was the last restaurant on earth and I was starving I would choose to starve instead of eating there. We went to the concert hungry. Not a good dinning experience.

This place is always awesome! When you walk in it feels like going to grandma's house and brings up good memories. The portions aren't worth shying away from either! They always treat you like you are family from the moment you enter their door. Thank you for such a refreshing atmosphere and a full belly
