This is one of my absolute favorite places to eat. I am from the Midwest and any time someone visits I take them here to show them real Mexican food. Their rice and beans are so good I actually eat it before the entree! The chimichanga is absolutely MASSIVE!!! their Verde salsa is sweet and delicious, they have a much hotter salsa you can request that is brick red full of smokey flavor and heat! 11 out of 10 stars!

Food was different than usual Mexican, did not like the taste. It was bland. Chile was not hot. Enchiladas were made with flour tortillas, not corn tortillas. The sauce for taco salad smelled like it was spoiled. The black beans were not tasty, overall the prices for the meals were not worth the food. Im from New Mexico, Mexican food from this place was disappointing. Only thing I liked about our stop was the the chips. Salsa was mostly tomatoes and onions, no chile.

I had the beef chimichanga with rice and beans on the side. Absolutely delicious and I could only eat half. Had the rest the next night at home and still delicious!

Tried this restaurant for the first time today and we were very impressed. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, the servers are wonderfully friendly and upbeat, and the menu is full of amazing dishes we will be returning to try more of! The salsa verde is the best I've ever had. I ordered the glazed salmon salad, which turned out to be the perfect summer salad complete with strawberries and orange slices that paired well with the salmon glaze. Hubby ordered the steak fajitas and was very happy with the well seasoned meat and veggies and generous portions. Highly recommend!

Got their early as they just opened up. Both dishes were barely warm, a long, long way from hot. like I said it was barely opened, so understandable.
Food was excellent, excellent leftovers. Definitely going back, they just need to nuke some of the ingredients if they are not up to temperature.

The moment we walked in a friendly environment, the young ladies gave amazing service. No problem with them very kind, sweet girls. The problem was with the food. 1)I ordered a fish taco, which looked delicious, but when I was about to eat it.I got a very strong fishy smell.Something cod shouldn't smell like. The only time cod should smell like that. It's when it's not stored in proper temperature or it's gone bad. I'm saying this because I used to own a fish market. When I opened up my taco, the fish was half cooked. I let the waitress know she was very apologetic and very quick to fix the problem. And I do thank them for that. 2) My husband ordered a steak burrito. This thing was drenching in oil.Like you have no idea he didn't even eat it.We brought it home.

Excellent food. A bit expensive, but very good.
Rosa's is a good 40 minute drive for us, but we used to love it there so much that it didn't bother us. They refurbished the outside of the building where Rosa's is in and since then, the prices went way up,Ike almost doubled in price. Rosa's is no longer affordable for us, we've been back twice and the last time we said we would no longer go back. It seems the food and atmosphere just isn't the same anymore
Is this true? Seems like it is. Reported on Facebook. There is a restaurant in Mesa called Rosa’s Mexican Grill Mesa.
On Tuesday, from my job I noticed that on the roof there were bird cages/traps, I walked over to notify the restaurant staff that the cages were full with birds and pigeons, I saw some attempting to get out but they could not escape and they were crammed in such a small space. The restaurant told me that they would notify the landlord about my concerns. I was saddened to see this from my workplace and wanted to bring it to their attention.
I looked this morning and the birds are no longer alive and remain in the cages. Is there someone I can contact about this? I don’t know who I should reach out to.
Even though they were going through construction outside, inside the food was great, I'd definitely go back.

Been dining at Rosa's, whenever we're in Mesa, for nearly 20 years. Staff couldn't be any better or more friendly (family operation), and the food is the best Mexican I've ever found, anywhere. Everything is just way beyond delish.
Oh...we'll be back...
