Above average food for an above average price. Rubios is a nice change of pace from the low tier eateries like Taco Bell or McDonalds but you'll pay for it.
They have an open salsa bar which, I almost wish they had the salsa is giant squeeze bottles or something but it's fine. The salsa is good.
Their soda is hit and miss but is usually calibrated so if you want a good coke they're usually spot on.
Overall, it's a nice option to have near you.

This was my first time ever eating Rubio's. I ordered a bean and cheese without salsa and fries. This was through a company order on Tuesday, Nov 19th for a company meeting, approximately 12 orders. It had salsa all at the bottom (so it wasn't even spread throughout if I did want it). The fries bag was not even halfway full (see pic) and they were soggy, rubbery, and barely warm; it's like they were cooked before the rest of the other orders.

We ordered a take out meal. I ordered and paid for a chipotle white sauce. Got all the way home and found out no sauce was in the bag. I called the location and they promised me on the phone they would make it right because of their error/my inconvenience however when I got there they didn’t do anything to make things right. Gave me the sauce and that was it.
I also went into this location with it being 60 degrees outside the building, it was 40-50 inside seriously it was worse than the hospital. IT WAS FREEZING!!

My wife and I ordered the two fish tacos with chips and beans. We had to wait 20 minutes for our order, even though there was only one other person waiting to be served. When our food finally arrived, the corn tortillas of the tacos were ice cold and broke apart when we bit into them. Not only that, but the person who brought our food was quite rude. We thought he was having a bad day. We've been going there for a couple of years, but the last three visits were disappointing. We will no longer visit that location.

This place is filthy dirty disgusting 🫣 flies, floor is nasty, you're feet stick to the floor when you walk, the salsa bar has flies and crust on the salsa bowls, napkin containers nasty and sticky, tables not wiped down...Pictures attached!

I was very excited to go to Rubio‘s again. I hadn’t been here in a while. Service was excellent. Food was excellent but the atmosphere was just horrible. It’s like 114° out and the AC was NOT working in the restaurant. This is unacceptable in Arizona for not only the employees who have to work behind the grill, but the patrons too! The owners here need to step it up.

I got the California steak burrito and chipotle white sauce. Let me tell you, this place has the best chipotle white sauce. The burrito was pretty good, not my favorite. Service was decent seemed like the cashier just may have been new, and atmosphere was what I’d expect from a Rubios. 4/5.
