Salvadoreno Restaurant #1- Pupusas

First time trying out pupusas and this place delivered! Got the pork and birria. Was so good! Came with free chips and salsa. Must try spot!

Amazing food. However, I came in to get 2 Papusa combos which are both 13.95, and I also got 2 waters. Now what confuses me is that my total was 38$?!? The only reasonable thing is to say that they charged me for each induvidual food item which is extremely deceptive. Now the food was amazing. But not 38$ for two small meals amazing. Make sure you get your receipt if you go here.

We buy them in bulk and freeze leftovers. And we buy extra curtido. Call ahead for big to-go orders. One time we tried making them at home. It was a disaster- now we leave papusas to the pros.

The pupusa combos are a great deal. For sides, I personally liked the fried plantains best.

They have a decent vegetarian and vegan menu.

Ordered off doordash and have to say it was so good. It was my first time having papusas and truthfully I didn’t know how big they’d be. I was definitely surprised when they weren’t the size of sopes but that of a smaller quesadilla. Either way, so delicious. I tried the potato and cheese, jalapeño and cheese, and the asada and cheese. Will definitely be ordering again.

Amazing salvadoranian food the quality of the food is as perfect as you would assume the waitress are beyond nice and grateful you came in also there fresh waters are delicious for this summer weather overall the place is quite the perfect place to come and dine in or take out

Ordered 40 mixed popular to be picked up, got them came back to find out none were labeled so we cut them in half's to see what was what, all of them had way more cheese than other places. Meat to cheese ratio was upsetting, like wow maybe they did this cause it was a to go order.

The food is ok. The place is dirty and unorganized. The waitress would rather mingle with her friends than attend to her customers. Unless you speak Spanish, be prepared to get served last.
