Food and service were amazing. From the outside it looks like your basic crowded mesa restaurant with nothing special, but once you go inside it's like entering a small ma and pops restaurant in Italy. The hostess got us seated quick and our server provided all the info we needed to choose what we wanted. The table setting with candle made it romantic for our first date and the food tasted amazing and was actually delivered hot and fresh. I would and have already recommended...

This was our first time at Sam & Luca Italian Bistro. Service was wonderful, food was good, but not incredible. My short rib was 50% fat. The others had short rib and their meat was way better. All three of us had risotto and it was undercooked.

Although the ambience and the service was very good, the value for the food and the food portions were well below expectation.

Nearly $30 for a plate of pasta that was not amazing or a hearty portion, $9 for a piece of tiramisu that is smaller than a pack of cards, $13 for an appetizer of 4 pieces of bread / bruschetta, Etc.… Left us less than wowed.

We had 1 appetizer, 4 pasta dishes, 3 desserts, and 5 beverages – no alcohol- and walked...
