I have eaten at a lot of Mexican places and Sol Azteca stands out because it does not try to do too much. The menu is short and focused on the classics: tacos, enchiladas, burritos, tamales, carne asada, and a few daily specials. That is it. No fusion items, no giant novelty plates, no endless list of margarita flavors. They cook real Mexican food the way it should be cooked, and they do it right every time.

Service is fast and friendly. The dining room is clean, bright, and no-nonsense. Prices are fair for the quality and amount you receive.

If you want authentic Mexican food made with care and without all the extra noise, this is the place. Sol Azteca proves that simple, traditional cooking done properly beats flashy menus every single time. I will keep coming back when I am in Mesa!

This place is Fantastic! I had the molcajetito and it was a steal. So much food for the price, definitely recommend. The place is clean and has friendly service. Also have a little salsa bar, which is a bonus.

Best enchiladas I've ever put in my mouth. The nopalitas in the molcajetita was divine. The beans and rice were cleaned and so yummy. The street tacos alone were worth coming back daily. I think I've found my favorite restaurant here. We bought 3 entrees for just under 60 with 2 drinks... so fast food or this?.. I will always choose this!!!

Our fav local Mexican food spot. From their crunchy tacos to their burritos and their frescas and horchata.. it’s so delish!

Asada taco, quesadillas, and mole poblano are all exceptional

Went here for dinner w my kiddos traveling on vacation, Sol Azteca Mexican Kit., was G.O.A.T. for authentic Mexican Cuisines I ever had. I love Mexican Food n this restaurant n chef was across the board Wonderful ~ Wonderful ~ Wonderful ~ customer service, dinners, appetizers, sides, rest., style, comfortable n clean. Thank You 💯. We will always stop in again n again!

Unprofessional, I ordered take out and when I got home I realized they forgot my Horchata so I called the restaurant immediately uninformed whoever I spoke with about them forgetting to give me my Horchata and they told me they would write my name down so I could pick it up when I have a chance and I told him I wasn't gonna go back the same day.
This restaurant informed me it was ok, I could go any other day and just tell them my name. Well, yesterday I went to the restaurant to eat, and I informed them about the situation and they denied me my Horchata they never wrote down my name like they told me.

First time visiting. I got the enchilada and relleno my wife the 4 taquitos. The service was fast, warm and delicious. Will be going back for sure.
