The Sweet Tomatoes website for Gilbert and Tempe needs to be updated. The website for both shows that they are "open now." This struck me as odd because it would seem they wouldn't be open because of the risk of constant handling of utensils to get food from the buffet. Upon calling both Tempe and Gilbert Gateway phone #'s, each said they are temporarily closed. It's important to have the internet updated as well, not just when calling. Thank you.

Sweet tomatoes closed back in my Florida town, so it's always great to get to visit one when I travel. This location did a great job making sure everything was well stocked and fresh!

Ew. First off this was my first time eating here, I mistakenly made my salad on the "to go" plate. I thought it was just a value meal. They were so rude about it, charged me more, told me I better not refill my bowl, and almost wouldn't let me eat in the restaurant. Seriously they were beyond rude!! Then my husband found a hair in his salad! Just save yourself the time and go elsewhere.

My daughter and I go at least once a month to eat here. Always fresh and tasty. I use the email coupons I get regularly. We always enjoy the fresh fare at Sweet Tomatoes.

42' salad bar. Farm fresh food. Home made salad dressings, soups, pizza and so much more. Their mac and cheese is creamy and tasty.

Unfortunately, this sweet tomatoes is like most salad bar restaurants I have tried to Let earn my business. The store is understaffed to maintain clean standards and obviously does not do deep cleanings on a regular basis. The booth that we were Seated in was not cleaned to a high standard and the paint on the walls was poorly done. Bathrooms were not clean and the maintenance schedule was not being maintained. Floors were poorly maintained, which gives the appearance of poor overall maintenance. The food line was fairly clean and well stocked. I see this as a typical soup plantation restaurant. Meaning, managed for maximum daily profits, while ignoring the long term sustainability of the restaurant. I can see the same management techniques in soupersalad restaurants. Soup plantation once again is missing the opportunity to create a long term ,sustainable healthy restaurant with a high end feel because upper management lacks vision and refuses to put their money where it needs to be, site management! This store like most, will be closed in the near future.

Place is awesome! They have a few different salads for you and a bunch of toppings! Lunch time during Presidents Day was insanely busy, though. We usually come at night, when it's slower. But despite how busy it was, all the staff were super friendly and patient. This is one of our favorite places to go to! Totally recommend!

The salad bar is good and seems fresh. We left wondering about the dressings though. The atmosphere could be described as Sams or Costco food court - plain, but darker. I would recommend getting the lunch plate and not worry about the deserts that come with the dinner.

Love this place! My daughter and I love choosing Sweet Tomatoes because they have so many healthy options. My favorite is the mushroom soup! It is delish! Highly recommend for a healthy lunch or dinner option.

In our experience the food is always good and they offer a reasonable selection. Unlike most Sweet Tomatoes we have visited, this one seems more rudimentary---like a warehouse dining experience. Ambient noise is high.

This was my first time here, honestly didn't know what to expect. The salad bar was fresh with lots of veggie choices (no meat). The chili was delicious with just the right amount of heat. I then had the pasta with Alfredo sauce, also very tasty.

Delicious and Healthy Food Buffet. Many selections of Soups & Salads to choose from. Fresh ingredients and made from scratch, I will be returning!

I have absolutely nothing to put here

I just recently moved to AZ from Atlanta. We went to Sweet Tomatoes all the time back home, so we decided to try this one. Same food, same atmosphere, but a TON of salt was in their soups! It's a relatively healthy place to eat and will raise your blood pressure at the same time. I will come back when I need my blood pressure raised up. Thanks again

I haven't eaten at Sweet Tomatoes for a long time. I noticed some changes I liked:. More readymade salad selections, breads were moist and not dried out and blueberry cobbler nice addition! I still love their broccoli soup. The hostess was so helpful in getting our table for 9 quickly set up.
