First visit here, and we've tried many Mexican restaurants in the area, and this by far is the BEST; atmosphere, service, food! We had the carne asada torta, pastor taco combo, and grilled green onion & chiles. The torta is the best torta I've EVER had, and I'm a picky Mexican! Amazing! Will definitely be back in the near future. I asked what Cahuamanta was, and they gave me a sample to try. Oh my omg, it was amazing, but my BF said it was too fishy for his taste buds for the night, lol. The ladies in the front were very attentive, cleaning, serving, taking orders like no tomorrow, and the cook was on it! They were pretty busy, and we got our food so fast, and it was fresh and flavorful. Rice and beans, in my personal opinion, could use a little salt or consome, but it is better to be safe than salty. The tacos were packed with meat, and I needed help finishing my plate. Not the mini street tacos, either, full-size corn tortillas. We spent $33, with a bottle of coke and canned coke included. All toppings and sauce are self-serve!

I was amazed at the taste of the birria tacos and carne asada quesidilla!! I haven't had excellent, good food in a long time ,and this was amazing and it didn't disappoint me! It was so perfect and just gave my taste buds a surprise party of their life!!!
I will always go back to this place because I no I will never get disappointed! Staff was so friendly, prices are good and place was immaculate and food was FIRE!!!
Parking: No problem finding a spot, plenty of parking!!
Kid-friendliness: They have outside patio and kids would like that. Weather's getting so nice now it be cool sitting out there having your meal.

The food was great! I got the Sonoran dogs and shrimp tacos and rice. My wife had the asada tacos. I eat Mexican food a lot because it's my wife's favorite food, but this was excellent. This was one of the best meals that I ever had in my life. The service was great and the people were friendly.

Very quaint little taco shop with a little salsa bar. But these are the best little “street tacos” that I’ve found in a Very Long Time!!! I’ve been twice already in a week and can’t wait to keep going back and trying everything! Two people =$16!

Best food and service in Mesa hands down
I particularly enjoyed speaking with the young men who cooked in the cantina.
They were energetic and upbeat excited about cooking and truly loving what they were doing which I could taste in the meal.
The young lady at the counter new every person who came through the door and treated them including myself like family.
A truly amazing experience for a man who was tired from his journey to a new adventure.

Craving mexican food, and this was actually our 2nd option, and we were so glad the other place was closed. Tacos & Dogos is now our #1 option when in the area. The carne asada was really good and flavorful. We had it in a number of our items. Huge quesadillas. An interesting. combinations of flavors that worked well together. Pastor was flavorful and not greasy... all around super food. Nice diamond in the rough
