I’ve never been here until today and I was very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was really good and the guy that was there helping us was extremely nice. Great spot. I highly recommend it. The only thing you could really critique is the food is a little rice heavy but honestly overall very happy with the experience.

I stopped down the way home I had a long drive. I've never heard of the place but I love Thai food and can't really find it in the small town I live. It was Sunday night 10/26/25, the guy working (forgot his name) was great. I asked him to suggest a couple things for a long drive and I was hungry and everything he recommended was fantastic I'm having in the rest of it tonight. Hard to find but once I did I was happy I believe there's a lot more of these I was told a local guy owns them and I'm going to definitely be going back because it was great the curry was great the dumplings kinda sucked but they were still good cuz I was hungry. A lot of stuff on the menu I'm going to go back and try but the red curry and the chicken chow mein phenomenal.

I came in the other day and one of the workers there her name is Destiny, she was made my day. Immediately greeted me, asked about my day, if I have ever tried thai before and gave a nice break down of options. She checked on me to make sure I enjoyed the choice I choose. She was so sweet and had excellent customer service! Which made it a very nice first experience, definitely coming back !

I walk in on a Saturday evening with one person sitting in the restaurant and was told that it would be a 45 minute wait for the food to be cooked. Totally unacceptable.

I love the food. Everything is always accurate and consistently delicious, from the rice to the curry and everything in between. I always look forward to seeing Destiny’s smiling face when I come to order. She is my favorite person there and my experience would not be the same without her. I am almost disappointed if she is not there when I visit but all I have to do is remember how good the food will be.

Ordered yellow curry to go. The portion was very large, the flavors were great, tofu cooked well, and the amount of veggies in the dish was ideal. I ordered conservatively with spice level (medium) since it was my first time at this place but definitely could have gone spicier.
*addition* I tried the panang curry and drunken noodles on another occasion (which are often my favorite thai dishes) and I didn't love either of them. The panang curry lacked depth and was too creamy and thick, while the drunken noodles were bland. I probably would not order these items again, unfortunately

I hate giving bad reviews but Thai Chili is one of my favorite spots and the rudeness of one employee ruined my desire to visit this location again. Not to mention the amount of food for the price. I’m writing about the location on Power road in Mesa.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon. After we ordered, we noticed several orders were coming out, sitting without lids while one single customer was asking the cashier endless questions regarding everything on the menu. I got up and wanted to make sure our order wasn’t sitting there getting cold. The cashier noticed and rudely said they weren’t our orders sitting there and she had to assist the other customer. Didn’t even care that WE are customers too who already paid and was not at all polite with her response. Incredibly rude and complete disregard for us. I mentioned to her that I was just making sure it wasn’t sitting there while she was distracted. She said it hasn’t even been that long since we ordered. Again. Rudely. When our food came out, we noticed the entrée containers weren’t full and the side of veggies was only a quarter of the way full. We’ve always received atleast 3/4 full container of veggies at other locations which is why we always order a side of veggies. She claimed they changed the serving size. Yet they still charge $5 for a side of veggies with LESS food. I get everything has gotten more expensive but if Akshat Sethi is skimping that much, this place is not even worth the price anymore. And the least she could’ve done is offered to add more this one time since we just learned about their “less portions, more money” rule. 🙄 The other locations have always treated us great and I’ve even recommended Thai chili to friends but after this, no way. It makes me sad that this location has turned me off of visiting Thai chili again. One single cashier at this place completely ruined our thoughts about Thai chili.
