This was our 4th time at this Hub location having dinner and must say, we were totally disappointed. Our 1st experience was wonderful. The server asked if we had been in before, and told her our 1st time. They sent over a complimentary appetizer, which was delicious and our food was really good. Since then we had been back 2 other times, however after last evenings experience we will NOT be back. To explain: upon arrival we were told by the front door attendant (which was a child) that it would be a 20 minute wait. No problem, however there were several empty tables. Once seated, at a table that was empty the whole time we were standing and waiting, no server. Waited and waited. Finally about 20 to 25 minutes later, the bar tender came over and took our drink order. They about a half hour later, someone came and took our food order. It was so slow that we said to each other, if the food isn't hear in 5 minutes we are walking out. Finally the food arrived, and it was horrible. My husband ordered the Thursday special, a brat. He said it was the worst thing he had ever eaten. My dinner was okay, but just okay. The folks we started talking to in line while waiting for our table, said the same about the dinner, as we were leaving. Overall, the service and food was horrible. Would never recommend The Hub Grill and Bar.

I don’t care how successful you are, how cool you think you are - Period !! I am almost 64 and seriously do not give a Damn !! Alert your staff that the back parking lot “IS NOT A FREEWAY” The Speed limit is not 65 !! Shoe some class, because I’m ready to show the Lowest of IT !! Bunrt black bacon and over cooked burger had to be sent back because it was inedible. It was clear the cook was unhappy by the way my replacement meal came out. I see no reason to ever visit again. Really gross food.

Discriminatory does not cater to seniors (this is arizona afterall) those on fixed incomes, those wanting lesser fares or having smaller appetites (bariatric surgeryanyone?). If you as a single want nachos you must buy the dish (feeds 4) and pay that price...NO YOU CANNOT GET A HALF ORDER. No sliders you must buy a half pound burger . Can not order from the children's or lunch menu. Want more ranch for your wings or rings?.? You gotta pay extra. Half order (1/2)) lb) on the lunch menu but must order 1lb after 3pm...6 extra bucks... would like to enjoy myself but have to feel guiltily worrying about my bank account. Asked to speak to manager.. 3 young ones 2 with the zombie stares on supposedly on a Tuesday...really? Different one each time always blames the higher up even when you point out their position to relay patronage requests wishes....try to get them to understand the correlation as if they wanted 2 cheese burgers but couldn't unless they ordered and paid for 4 as that was the only option on the menu....

We recently visited this establishment while on vacation, expecting a nice evening, but the experience was incredibly disappointing. We are a group of adults in our 50s who had been enjoying our day and decided to stop by for a meal and a couple of drinks. However, things quickly took a negative turn when our server, Oscar, refused to serve us alcohol unless we confirmed we weren’t driving. We were completely caught off guard by this question, especially considering that we had responsibly walked there. None of us were being loud or disrespectful, so it felt completely unjustified for him to ask that in the first place.
It wasn’t just the refusal that upset us—it was the feeling that we were being unfairly judged. Despite being in control and just looking for a meal and a few drinks, Oscar treated us as if we were a problem from the start. Rather than approaching the situation professionally, he escalated things by bringing over his manager. Instead of attempting to resolve the situation, they told us to leave, leaving us shocked that bewildered as to exactly what we had done to deserve this type of treatment.
As if being asked to leave wasn’t bad enough, the situation got worse. After telling us to go, they made us wait an unreasonable amount of time for our bills. It felt like they were trying to irritate us further. When we finally paid, we had to go looking for both Oscar and the manager just to get our change back, which only added to the frustration.
We tried asking both Oscar and the manager what exactly led them to believe we were unfit to be served, but neither could give us a straight answer. It was baffling and incredibly frustrating. We understand the importance of responsibility with alcohol, but this situation was handled without any respect or professionalism. Instead of treating us like valued customers, we were made to feel like we didn’t belong.
This entire experience was humiliating and completely unfair. We came in expecting a pleasant time and left feeling disrespected. Sadly, we won’t be returning, and we can’t recommend this place to anyone who values being treated with basic decency and respect.
My 3 Amigos Margarita was the bomb but the carne asada nachos were very dry and a ton of chips. Then I ordered the loaded potato wedges and the cheese was burned. This location is not as good as the Sossaman and Baseline location
