This is place disgusting and overpriced. I guess you're paying for the ambiance. The avocado toast was horrible. They used Wholly brand prepackaged guacamole instead of fresh avocado. The staff's attitude was really off putting on top of it all. I love to support local, especially The Nile theater but this place it just too pretentious for my liking. I guess you have to look the part in order to get good service.

On the fence here because I really want to love The Nile. Let me start by saying we had an awesome experience with the time we got to spend inside. They had an event starting soon or it would’ve been longer. We got to take a few sets of photos in their super fun Photo Booth and just chill and talk a bit. The place has a really fun vibe. Pretty ample seating inside and some outside as well. Service was wonderful. I opted for a cold brew which is my typically go to. It is a 100% Vegan shop so my heavy whipping cream was out, but was able to get their cold foam option with vanilla. Unfortunately I wasn’t a huge fan of the cold brew itself. It tasted a bit acidic to me. I didn’t want to rate too low however from one drink when everything else was awesome. I have been frequenting Mesa more so I’ll come again and update them with a couple different drink options.

Tasty vegan breakfast food, but not many options. Affordable. Parking can be tricky (there are homeless people in the back parking area).
Even though the place isn’t small, there aren’t many seats. It doesn’t look dirty, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Amazing sidewalk Café in Mesa, where you can pretend for a minute you live in a real college town. The Nile has vegan food options, pleasant conversations, and is staffed by really nice people who know what they’re doing.

Went to this place for the first time today and I was very impressed! We got a cinnamon roll, two McBluffins, a brown sugar mocha and a banana bread latte. Everything was delicious and to our surprise the food was all vegan! This place had plenty of seating and a cute photo booth!

soooo cute!!! my hometown doesn’t have a traditional “downtown”, so we wanted to check out the mesa downtown while we were in phoenix. the nile coffee shop was such a cool spot, and i’ll certainly be going back. the atmosphere is incredible and it all feels so cozy.

On 10/21/25 a small drip coffee is $2, on the menu display board inside, a large $3, and pour over is $5. I ordered drip, and was rebuffed. I said I was willing to wait, but only offered a pour over or an americano as an alternative. I accepted the pour over. This took forever, and was as much coffee as the small at best. I feel, in hindsight, I should’ve been offered the drip price, since that’s what I wanted, they didn’t have it, and I was willing to wait. The quality was good, not exceptional.
They also didn’t have avocado toast or apparently any bread other than bagels, which rules out a lot on the menu as shown here on google. I got avocado on an everything bagel, which was a spread (not sliced avocado) on top of cream cheese, topped with some cherry tomato halves. It was ok.

Do not recommend staff that celebrate death

Absolutely vile people work there! This place does not deserve to be open!!!

Amber Jones

Absolutely filthy place. Avoid at all costs. They celebrate the death of fellow Americans in their coffee shop.

Good place to read or study. Quiet environment. Nice baristas for sure. They have sugar free options for coffee and teas and matcha. They have yummie treats as well.

Delicious vegan cafe with pastries!! Came with my sister in law here a few days ago. Unfortunately we didn’t realize the time and came in minutes to close. Barista kindly served us still not making us feel bad. I had a pistachio latte with almond milk which was delicious and a warmed cheese danish. Very tasty and eager to return to try more things!
It seems like a nice place to catch up with a friend or read! Will be back!
