This is a wonderful place for a traditional English tea!
From the moment you enter, you are greeted by both Her Majesty the Queen and the very kind English proprietor, Mark. He escorted us to our table, set beautifully with fine china & flowers. Our server came by, introduced herself and gave us the tea options. This visit, we opted for the Mrs Patmore's Pudding Tea. Delicious! Once settled with tea, the tower arrived! The top layer was filled with scones, jam and clotted cream. The second layer had petit fours, macrons and freshly dipped strawberries. These were HUGE fresh strawberries. The bottom layer housed freshly made finger sandwiches in 4 flavors PLUS mini-quiches for all. The server came around a couple of times to check on tea status.
Mark came by and we had a lovely conversation. He had some fun stories.
I went with my daughter, mother and a family friend to have the tea for two and had my expectations exceeded! The atmosphere is cozy and quaint, and the food and tea were delicious (recommend the raspberry rose and the dessert blend!). The owner gave us personalized service and was very friendly. Overall, a great experience and we plan to return.
I went to QRTR with my mom, grandma, and a friend today and we had a blast! The assortment of finger sandwiches, scones, and sweet treats was beautifully displayed and the tea was delicious (especially the raspberry, rose, and hibiscus tea). Plus, we got to talk with the owner, Mark, multiple times and he was a very entertaining and friendly host. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be coming back. 😊
Such a wonderful relaxing place. Staff were more than lovely and welcoming (major shout out to Robin our server) . Amazing place for the daddy daughter day my dad and I had there. Try the blueberry lavender tea!!
This was a lovely casual tea! The staff are all super friendly and kind. 10/10 would recommend and would come again.
Five friends and I met for a tea party today at the Quirky Royal Tea Room in Gilbert and had so much fun! Mark, the owner, should be a stand up comic! He kept us entertained every time he came by our table to check on us. The rest of his staff were friendly and efficient too. The food was really good and the teas were fabulous! We all especially loved the Blueberry Lavendar tea and Spinach Quiche. Oh, and the chocolate covered strawberries were to die for!! When we discovered that two in our group didn't get to try one ... because some of us ate more than our share ... Mark brought out more without hestiation! I've been to the best tea rooms in Mantattan, San Fran and Phoenix but the relaxed, fun atmosphere of the QRTR in Gilbert makes it my favorite! I will most definitely go back.
It was fun and it wasn’t terribly expensive! The filling of the sandwiches was a little bit on the skimpy side, but the tea’s (caramel/vanilla, etc. )
were outstanding and the atmosphere definitely took you to another place in time. 🏰
I think the owner should put a great big & I mean BIG painting with a castle or Buckingham Palace on the east wall making it more apparent you’re dining with royalty lol or in a far away forest in England, Ireland or Scotland. Like something you could step into through the wall.
Overall, I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to meet up with somebody and have a different experience than the norm.
This is a special place to do a birthday 🥳🎂 or a celebration! 🎉
I would actually like to do it again!
I recommend this place!
I was disappointed. The table settings were nice, but the table was wobbly and annoying. I brought my granddaughter for a special celebration and it was nothing like I expected (I've been to some great tea rooms). Pink walls with a few pictures of London and a cutout of the queen were the only hints of England. It doesn't look anything like the pictures on the website! The tea was delicious and the finger sandwiches were okay. The sweets were the best part.
I had reserved a table for 2 and requested the mommy and me pkg, but they charged me the full price of tea for 2. I tried to complain, but the server just said I brought you the full tea for 2. How was I supposed to know the difference. I won't be going back to this place. I could have had a more authentic experience at my own home for a lot less money.
This place is amazing! The owner is charming, and the staff is great! They serve a wonderful afternoon Tea! We will so be going back again and again!
Was there almost year ago by granddaughter for 70 th birthday

This is the second time we have been to the Quirky Royal Tea Room, and they did an amazing job both times. This time we went for Mother’s Day. It was a nice relaxing environment. We brought our 3yo and 6yo, and they had options for adults as well as children. The food was yummy and the perfect amount for 6 people. I highly recommend coming here for tea.
Had a great experience with my mom. Loved the tea and the employees were all so nice and made us laugh. Would recommend.
Had a great time at the quirky tea room…. Loved the tea and the 200 year old tea pot. The English gentleman at the front was a hoot and very nice. We will be back. 🤩
A Mother’s Day surprise that exceeded expectations. Excellent service , delicious tea and wonderful food.
It was a lovely tea celebrating Mother's day. The food was tasty and fresh. Enjoyed the mini quiche. The scone and accompaniments were my favorite. The ambiance is quirky just as the name states.
