Food is over hyped and expensive small portions and flavor doesn’t compensate for the price

Great little shop! Awesome tacos, hot sauces, and even tasty tortillas! Super friendly staff as well.

I'm a huge burrito guy so I was excited to check out this new place!! Customer service was not the best. No greeting when entering the store or when approaching the register. The employee at the register was not knowledgeable about the menu and could not answer any of our questions. A lot of our questions were met with just staring and mumbles. The place is bright inside with constantly changing menus, it was hard to read the menus before the screen changed to show something else. The food was prepared fresh at least.

I've never had such a rude encounter over a side of sour cream before. I paid almost an extra $1 for sour cream and when I got my order the sour cream wasn't in the bag. So I kindly went and asked for my side of sour cream. The girl at the counter said "I put it in the bag" and I said well I checked the bag and it's not there... and she goes "well fine I guess I'll give you another one" like I paid you extra for the sour cream just make it right.

This place should have so many more reviews than it does, it is absolutely amazing. I have been seeing videos and posts about birria, which is a type of soup with tons of seasonings and such. I saw that they had ramen birria and I was sold. First off, the ramen birria smelled so so good I was so excited to dig in. Second off, I decided to get it with tacos so I could dip it in the ramen. Hands down the best thing I have ever tasted. I highly recommend if you do like spicy, authentic, Mexican food. The service was quick and the lady who took our order was super helpful.

I got a bean and cheese burrito with a piña jarritos. The beans were tasty and they were also refried. The lady was cool up front. The music was loud but the food was good. The sauces weren't that spicy, wish they were spicier but that's ok.

This is supposed to be Chicken Nachos, more like concession stand nacho cheese soup! My nachos were so drenched in processed nacho cheese it was nearly inedible! On top of an insane amount of jalapeños and barely any chicken! (And we like jalapeños) My 2 daughters and I all got nachos shared a rice and beans side and 2 drinks and it was $60! Definitely won't be back! Literally felt like I was wasted my money! The menu pictures look NOTHING like the food that they bring out! The best part was the rice and beans! The staff was very underwhelming as well. No smiles or anything and ambiance in the restaurant was cool but definitely won't be back! If I could give 0 stars I would

Was in the area and wanted to try something new. Reviews are good and I figured it was a safe bet. Sure enough, it was really good! And as usual my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Is it "authentic" Mexican food. Perhaps not but if I'm in the area I'll return. Clean establishment, friendly staff and tasty food.

This spot just opened up nearby me so we decided to give it a try. They have street tacos for $2 on Tuesdays which is a great deal! You order at the counter to dine in or for takeout. They have a selection of tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, combos with fries, and even a fusion with tacos inside a ramen that I haven't tried yet but intend to next time! Definitely get the consome to dip your Burria tacos in (or just drink it's that good). We've tried the surf and turf burrito bowl and a selection of their tacos. I'd definitely get the tacos again but the burrito bowl was a little carb heavy and could use more lettuce/tomato/veggies incorporated for some different flavors and textures. They have a green and red salsa that's really good as well. The ambiance is casual with a selection of high tops to dine-in and they play nice festive music and have one tv inside that plays food promos. The music isn't overly loud but enough that you wouldn't want to be taking business calls or anything. The service has always been really friendly as well.

Fantastic company and a fair price for the service. We just booked them for a party and they are super helpful, responsive to questions, and we can't wait for the amazing food coming. ?

There's alooooooot of hype to live up to at The Taco Spot. For me it was good but def not the best I have had in the area. Basically nothing can touch Elmer's Tacos so take my opinion for what it's worth and understand this review is essentially a direct comparison of the two. Today's meal was birria tacos. Tacos are $3.99 each and you have to purchase your consume extra for $1.50. (At Elmer's you get all that for $7.99.) The tacos were good but could have been crispier and with birria tacos my preference is cheese on the bottom. The consume left a lot to be desired. Both times I have eaten there it felt like the consume sat on a burner way too long and lacked the depth of flavor I'm used to at Elmer's. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad but just doesn't hold a candle to others. The plus however is they are served every day of the week vs Elmer's only on Fri & Sat. So def a good spot to stop and grab a quick snack.

The tacos tasted like garbage. Way overpriced

Absolutely a rip off !!!!!!! I ordered a keto taco and fries outcomes this fried up cheese with barely any meat in it and ONE taco fries and a drink $25. The food was absolutely awful. What a pissin rip off !!!! I wish I would've took a picture and I forgot because I was so mad, wish I could actually show you what I got for $25. The keto taco was absolutely horrible burnt cheese with no meat!!! How do you hand somebody one taco? They didn't even know how to make the drinks!

Understaffed. One underage girl was running the front of house. So she said she had to wait for someone to come make a margarita. But nobody ever came out to help her the whole half hour I was here. Even as food sat in the kitchen window for 5 minutes before she was able to step away from taking orders and deliver it to another table.Tacos were okay though. Good crumbly corn tortillas. Meats not overly salty. Salsas were alright.
