Great food! Authentic feeling but poor service and atmosphere.
The atmosphere was not very inviting to say the least. The alternative rock music was not a compliment to the theme. Fiance and I both got Ramen, one with Miso, one with Pork. Safe to say it was very run of the mill Ramen. Once we had gotten home, we both almost immediately got very sick. Service was fine, not terrible but not anything to write home about. After our total coming out to $55.00, i can safely say I will not be returning.
Came for lunch. I had pork ramen with miso broth. All food was excellent- authentic. Ube, strawberry and espresso mochi ice cream were all delicious!
Gyudong was good. Chicken skewer tastes little different than before. They also stopped serving edamame.
My go to Japanese spot! I’ve ordered something different each time I come and have never been disappointed. I love this ma and pa restaurant so much!!!
First time there. Food was authentic and great. Highly recommend it and we would totally go back again.

Great food ! Enjoyed every entree . It is a very simple place reminiscent of a diner w booths and limited decor , but worth it for a good homemade meal . Felt like I was eating at grandmas house .
Came here on a weekday and ordered Gyudon combo, crispy gyoza, and yakitori.
I didn’t expect the yakitori to be deep fried but it was good, wish it had a thicker sauce. Gyoza was sooo good! Gyudon had great soy flavor.
Lots of seating and fast, friendly service. Would recommend ~

The food is excellent. Family owned, originally from Japan and have been in the valley for years. I have enjoyed many of their dishes. This is a family favorite!

Fantastic authentic Japanese food, went at a very busy time and had to wait a while before we could order (owner let us know) well worth the wait! Plain interior but don’t skip it because you’ll miss out on delicious, authentic Japanese food for a good prices.
