The birria tacos are amazing. Actually there is only one thing I haven't been pleased with there (churro). But I have tried several things on the menu over the past few months and everything has had incredible flavor, it's always hot. And the young man at the counter is super sweet!

The metal chairs at the high tables are scary. My son has twice sat in one that was broken and if you lean back you'll be on the floor.

But the food makes up for that!

I had to try the Carne Asada tacos for lunch. I have DoorDash here before and I thought it was a pretty cool looking spot and the food looked and smelled delicious. So I ordered some at work. Had it delivered and it did not disappoint. The tacos were delicious And the salsa that came with it gave it a nice kick. The beans and rice were a nice little add-on and I really enjoyed my lunch. Definitely gonna consider ordering more food from here. But if you wanna order this, you wouldn’t go wrong.

Unfortunately food was average. We tried four different meat options tacos but the problem was same preparation of the meat was not enough to say those tacos delicious.

I thought this place was pretty cool. Small and chill. I can see it filling g up.fast as the dine in is pretty small. Ut the food is bog. I love the surf and turf. I only came in person once, just to see how it is. Jve ordered probably like 7 times on uber. Same thing- keto tacos. These guys the only ones in my area, so I'm glad they make good food! My family eats the other stuff and they don't complain.its free for them so they better not. Bit when the food comes it's all quiet. Everybody eats it up. So mist be good. Cause when I buy taco bell there's always leftovers

Food was good albeit a bit too greasy. The chairs need some work at the high top tables. The back was broken on one and the seats are sloped so you kind of slide off.

Had the surf and turf keto tacos. Great flavor.

I did receive a response from the taco spot. I can see from much more recent reviews that they must have improved. Good for them. I will try again and update the review since my original 1 star is 7 years old.

Taco Spot East Mesa staff are always friendly, helpful, courteous and professional. The food is of course superb!!
