Arepas de queso was great. The empanadas were also good, although Oily.
Staff was pleasant.
Excellent service and food (like home cooked meals from old school moms). I ordered two empanadas (carne mechada and ground beef). The carne mechada took me back to middle school when I used to run to eat in the school cafeteria in Puerto Rico when they served this meat. We also ordered the carne (beef) mechada plate with white rice and black beans which included avocado, ripe plantains (tajadas). My wife ordered the carne/chicken mechada with tostones, rice and black beans.

This food is amazing! I loved everything! Nothing is small, so ask according to what you can eat! The taste is spectacular, you have to come.
1st time & we stopped in to check out their empanadas. Not only did we get 4 different empanadas; shrimp & cream cheese, shredded beef, ground beef & rice and ham & cheese (all good, but the ground beef and rice was my favorite), but we also got an order of maduros (outstanding) and a tres leches for dessert and it was one of the best tres leches I've ever had. Parking is pretty tight (its in a strip mall with a mexican food restaurant) and you order at that counter and they bring it out to you. Pretty quaint little place but the food was pretty good. DEFINITELY stop in for the tres leches - its that good!

This is an East Valley diamond in the rough and the owner/chef, la mejor Venezolana, is solid gold. In a seemingly endless market of ‘meh’ taco shops, legit Venezuelan food is something you must try. Eat there, experience culinary bliss.
Btw - another reviewer criticized that the menu wasn’t approachable for white Americans, so I’ve uploaded some gringo friendly menus courtesy of ChatGPT.

Incredible food & service! Stumbled across this local Venezuelan restaurant and was not disappointed! 🙌 This sampler platter was enough for 4-6 people and was made fresh to order so everything came out hot and delicious. Highly recommend!

I Went to look for a Cuban sandwich; Google sent me here, and they don't do Cuban! So much for the search. It's Venezuela, baby! So I ordered a Venezuelan sandwich, and I'm looking forward to getting it home. Something different; the place is strip mall quaint. Love it! I'm gonna open this at home and see what it looks like.

Great unassuming Venezuelan restaurant on Ray Rd. My family and I got cachapas, tequen~os, pastelitos and arepas. They were delicious and plentiful. The staff was courteous and helpful. A good place for Venezuelan food, recommended. Definitively going back in the near future.

The dish I ordered was delicious. This is my first time eating Venezuelan food. My girl is from Venezuela so I wanted to try Venezuelan dishes. I highly recommend this place.
