Forever closed! Drove there excited to try some place different. Got a perfect parking spot. All to find a note on the door explaining that they are permanently closed. Why not post this on the website? Why does it say you're open when you're not? What a waste of time and a drive.

Village Inn corporate (located in Tennessee) closed several stores in Mesa, AZ without notice to employees in January, 2020. The store my wife and I went to had 1 or some REALLY good workers and was a destination for us for over 10 years. Management was NOT customer friendly!! Liked the VIB concept. I expect the remaining stores will also be getting the shaft soon!

It was fine. The hamburger was good and the onion rings were crispy. As always, the pie was excellent. Although they were busy, we were taken care of appropriately. VI has a very expansive breakfast menu, but lunch and dinner selections are limited.

Food was good, grateful for free pie Wednesdays ? had breakfast items, hamburger, grilled cheese.. all satisfied. 3 stars because kitchen was sooooo slow and for no reason, restaurant was not busy at all.

Used to be here every Wednesday for the free pie. They had a rule change to where the pie was only free with the purchase of an entree. Understandable, but I was dissapointed to find out that the large portion of tomato basil soup which is my favorite dish there doesn't count as an entree. The pie is good but I wish they would've be a bit more upfront about the price. The rest of the food is a little underwhelming.

Very disappointed, the food was bland. Not what I was expecting. Only bright spot was our waitress. Won't be going back, the manager never asked how we were doing.

Good meal, tomato bisque soup was great! Friendly staff, good service, good food, excellent pies for dessert or take out! Well worth the visit!

We were here for 30min until they came to take our order. Then it took about another hour to finally get our food which not everyone got there food until about 20min then we all got our food including the syrup for our pancakes and the ketchup we never even got out hot sauce. They got one of the orders wrong as well. We ended up getting here and leaving irritated and mad instead of full and happy. I usually am understanding on situations but seeing other people that got there after us and getting their food first is what upsetted me the most especially because we were hungry. We eneded up being here a total of of an hour and forty minutes!!!!

This Village Inn was very busy, and we had a party of ten. They did a good job of getting us seated. Our server was very friendly and attentive.some of us got dinner and some of us just got pie and coffee. All of us enjoyed our food. The restaurant had an atmosphere you’d expect for a Village Inn. It was clean and well maintained.
Very good and quick service. Nice and very clean place. Our server was very attentive. Meals where very nicely proportioned. Presentation was very nice. Definitely will be back.

Eggs way overcooked. I ordered them over easy and they are pictured. I was also missing part of my to go order and had to drive back. Their saving grace was their service, both of the waitresses I dealt with were very nice and apologetic. They took care of the issues quick, which is the reason for more than one star.

This Morning stood in the lobby 5 minutes before being greeted then I was seated sat for 10 minutes no greeting from server asking if I wanted coffee or anything VERY POOR SERVICE VERY UNSATISFIED Left restaurant and went to Jack In The Box
