First time at the waffle house and the food was the bomb. The wait wasn't long at all to sit down. The only issue was that two groups who got seated before us got their orders taken and served before us...we got out order taken like 15 minutes after being seated. Overall it was a good experience.

I’m disappointed to write this review, but I feel it needs to be shared as an opportunity for improvement.
My husband and I arrived at the Waffle House on Country Club around 12 PM looking forward to enjoying waffles, which we’ve always loved here. We requested a table instead of counter seating and were told we were third in line. We waited patiently for about 30 minutes, and the hostess even acknowledged that we had been there for quite a while.
However, when two tables became available, the hostess seated people who had arrived after us. From what we observed, some people were seated ahead of us because they appeared to know one of the servers. That was very frustrating and felt unfair.
My husband and I have been coming to this Waffle House location for years, but the seating system seemed completely unorganized during this visit. After waiting that long and being passed over, we felt it was best to leave.
It was disappointing and honestly felt like a bit of a slap in the face after being loyal customers for so long. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on creating a more organized and fair seating process for future guests.

I will never come to this wafflehouse again. They are clearly racist at this location. My husband and I were the only black people in the restaurant. When we came in the door we were not greated and the table was dirty. It was the only table that didnt have dirty dishes on it. So I asked the blonde haired girl to wipe it off she did reluctantly and said she would be back. I heard her ask someone else to assist us. Nobody ever came to the table we wait 20 min and then hear them calling another order for ppl that just walked in. So we left. ISNT THIS 2026???

I’m not from here. 1st and last time customer. My kids were home and hungry so I ordered them two breakfast plates to go. I wasn’t looking to spend premium money on the meals. Im giving this 1 star because of all the places we have been to eat we have never been charged such an excessive fee to order food to go. We were charged a $4.25 Service Charge and another $4.25 ToGo fee and that’s not including a tip. We were charged 20% on top of the 2 breakfast dishes bringing our total to $52.00. For a low end fast food restaurant that’s excessive. I could have and next time will spend the same money going to a premium restaurant to order something ToGo.
