Waldo’s BBQ is the real deal. When a place brings out their BBQ sauce in a cast iron skillet, you already know you’re in for something legit. The brisket has been perfect every single time — tender, flavorful, exactly how it should be. Solid service, great atmosphere, and food that backs it all up. I’ll definitely be going back.

The only way I was able to eat the peach cobbler pie with a scoop of ice cream on top of it was like this. I had to eat half of my baby back ribs then eat the pie and save the other half of my baby back ribs for lunch the next day. It was the best meal I've ever had, ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've ordered Waldo's a few times now. Usually it's not too bad. It'll do for some barbecue. Today I ordered pulled pork and brisket both lean and fatty. The pork was average. The brisket though was awful. I've had it before and it was mediocre. Today was the worst. The brisket was cold and completely dry, I'm talking drier than Well Done steak dry. I am very convinced that it was left over from yesterday because it had that texture of being refrigerated. It also was more like corn beef than brisket. But I wanna put the emphasis on the texture. Bone dry and not even room temperature. I will never be desperate enough to order from here again.
Update: Second time eating at Waldo’s and man this place has a selection of home style meals you gotta try. We’re definitely going to be back to try the other items on the menu too. The nostalgia with this place, the flavor and smell of the food makes you feel like you’re back at a cookout at your parents’ house.
This place is absolutely awesome!! Love this mom-and-pop old school diner feel. The food was awesome, the pace is awesome , and the staff are cool! Great lace to eat.
