This afternoon we serendipitously discovered this place while looking for a curio shop. Waldos 's is an ancient, vintage treasure which offers excellent BBQ at reasonable prices. We were told the place will soon undergo needed renovations. In the meantime, enjoy the many quirky old-time signs and wonderful food. You'll be glad you did!

Not my first time there nor my last. Got fried catfish dinner, slaw and potato salad to go. Let's not forget the peach cobbler. Most excellent dinner.

The very BEST BBQ sauce and pulled pork that I’ve had in my life! My favorite menu items are The Pig, The Waldo Sandwich (brisket and pulled pork), and the 1/3# ( pulled pork) Skillet is hands down my favorite choice. The potato wedges are amazing too. The servers are all awesome, and the atmosphere is fun, with all of the vintage metal signs/sayings covering the walls.

Horrible!! Yes, I've been told it's a "landmark" restaurant, but the food is very substandard. I had the sampler, my wife the Tennessee sampler. BOTH had mushy meat and SUPER dry ribs. The sides were cold. Service was SUPER SLOW. Go somewhere else.

Food was good but sad that they didn’t have sausage or cornbread- you have to choose bread as a side. Mac and cheese just ok. Staff very friendly but forgot about us for a bit.

Nothing fancy like Lucille’s or Bobby Q, but no wait and prices moderate. Baby backs were great, superb onion rings (ez to feed 4-5) cole slaw good, pinto beans….very plain/nobody home. Ample parking, service was good. Yes, will return!

Have been going here for over 30 years. Always have gotten good service. The food has been consistent the way it's prepared. Don't remember a bad meal. The pork is very tasty to me. I enjoy the okra, yum. I enjoy the mason jar glasses.love the onion rings I will continue patronizing this restaurant.

It is definitely a quirky place...I always giggle at their sign outside that says 'sorry...we're open'!! And I love the pink pig! I don't eat there a lot because I prefer another bbq place, but since they're closer to me I stop occasionally. I haven't had anything bad here!
