I stopped by a few days ago and was so glad I did! Delicious REAL FOOD without all the terrible chemicals and additives of other priducts...The wonderful review that Luis P. submitted 1 year ago, with all the details and pictures is still accurate today. Enjoy!
The bread is great! The problem I continue running into is that the paper labels they use touch the bread directly and those areas ALWAYS get moldy the quickest. If they switched to sticker labels NOT touching the bread, but on the outer package, I'd come back again as my sole bread place. But I can't continue buying contaminated bread. . .
Whole Grain Bread in Mesa has an awesome vibe inside—very clean, warm, and welcoming. The bread looked absolutely delicious, and the staff was kind, helpful, and super friendly. I’ll definitely come back for more great local goods and baked treats.
Guess what I purchased this morning! A good size ham & cheese quiche! They have spinach quiches also. They make them on weekends & you can call & order them too. Got two freshly made sandwiches, a loaf of bread, a chocolate brownie, & a cinnamon bun too boot! Always worth a bread drive-by!!!
I really like the bread and the lemon bars. But to my surprise I really like the granola
Really nice little shop, got a danish and it was amazing. Very light and fluffy, will be going back soon.
Probably one of the best bakeries I've been to in a long while.
It's definitely worth going . Try everything always super good.
I NEVER write reviews, EVER, but this place pissed me off. For a bakery, you would think a smile would be on staff members' faces to greet a customer - not even a hello/good morning or acknowledgment of my existence. I was on the go, so I quickly chose a blueberry oat bran muffin, paid, and got out of the depressing environment. What a mistake on my part for even purchasing anything from this business. As I was biting into the muffin, I discovered the center of it wasn't properly cooked and was still mushy. So I thought to myself, oh goodness, I should notify the business to inform them. Maybe, their oven equipment is malfunctioning, and I would hate for them to have another customer be disappointed or become sick/food & safety reasons. I wasn't looking for another muffin (I didn't have time to drive back or even wanted another muffin) - I simply wanted to be a kind individual to notify a business regarding food and safety regulations so it can be resolved. I called and a rude female crappy teenager answered the phone and didn't give a shit about my concern. All I had stated was, "Good morning, I just there, purchased a blueberry oat bran muffin and discovered that it's still not properly cooked all the way through and was mushy in the center." Her answer was "Yeah we know." You know and ??? - is the staff going to do something about it? Perhaps communicate to me that you are going to remove all the current muffins the company is trying to sell today so no one else comes across this issue or doesn't get sick?! This business is making itself look bad and the staff needs to be more mature with customers - A. walking in (you greet people), B. when a concern arises (communication is key - is this business going to take care of the issue?). C. Have some common sense to remove or not bake any other muffins - until the issue is fixed! Knowing the staff is "aware" of the problem, then you know darn well the manager/owner knows of this too - then maybe have common sense about not placing any other customers at risk of getting sick. Is this place really unprofessional and lazy to repair a malfunction of an oven or whatever the cause may be making the muffins undercooked? Next time, reconsider another bakery - this one does not deserve the time of day or anyone's money. Hopefully, they read this post and think twice about their professionalism.

We were looking for bread bowls and stopped to see if they had them. We place and order for the date we needed them. When we pick up the bread bowls, there are other items we plan on purchasing
