Worth Takeaway offers a warm, inviting vibe in Downtown Mesa, with a stylish, comfortable patio and a bright, clean interior.
The vibe is excellent, but the food is inconsistent, and the delight is not proportional to the cost. On multiple visits, sandwiches were forgettable—too much bread, not enough protein, bland flavors, and lackluster toppings. Fries were thick but lacked crunch and flavor. This restaurant is optimized for consistency and broad appeal, not delight.
Prices are high, with a basic sandwich and fries pushing $20. The menu looks promising, but the execution doesn’t live up to the hype.
Staff are friendly and accommodating. When I expressed disappointment, they offered a gift card to try again, which I appreciated.
If you visit, I recommend customizing your order—wraps and adding extra toppings can help. Otherwise, expect average food at a premium price.

The guy up front named jayden was the best server we have ever had. Very clean very clean cut most def represents the business in an amazing way. The owner should be very proud i work customer service im completely blown away 5+ stars thanks again jayden me and my family will come back more often!
The only issue I had was price for drinks and no refill. I finish my root beer right away and didn't have nothing for my meal which was soo freaking good.

Try their croque madame- that is the absolute best sandwich I have ever tried in my life! I was lucky, called in last minute and check if they still have it, and voila, they do! It was my last meal in Arizona before my flight, and I swear I will fly back to Mesa someday just for their sandwich. Their service was quick for a to-go, and straightforward pickup. Their food was still hot when I picked up. Their sandwich was cooked perfectly, the runny eggs, the flavor balance, the crispiness of the toasted bread... amazing. 10/10 will come again!

We came into town to visit some friends and spent the day at Great Wolf Lodge. After being in the humidity and water most of the afternoon we decided sub sandwiches would be a great choice for our family of 6. We typically like to try local places versus doing chain restaurants when we travel and this place looked promising and was unique so we decided to give it a try. We spent $121 with the tip which is typical for our family eating at a basic sit down restaurant but thought it was a bit expensive to spend on sandwiches. However, even spending that much money, we were hopeful that it would meet the expectations. Upon reviewing the receipt we noticed we were charged for a sauce that came on the sandwich but was requested to be put on the side in case we didn't like the sauce. I'm not sure why we would have to spend an additional $1.25 for a sauce that is supposed to be on the sandwich already just because we requested it be on the side. Also, my husband didn't get his salad that he ordered with his sandwhich. Then we ordered chips for the rest of us as our sides but they put fries in place of chips for one of the sides so one of my daughters had to eat fries even though she didn't want to. The flavor of the subs were just sub par. All of my girls did not care for their sandwiches and my sandwhich was lacking flavor. I didn't make any changes to my sandwhich because the ingredients on it seemed to be a good combination but it was bland and soggy. The people who worked there were friendly so that was the only positive that came from the whole experience which is why I gave it two stars instead of just 1 star.

The spicy candied BLT is incredible! Everything else on the menu is delicious and well prepared, from the fries to the side salads. Service is super friendly. The space is small, so seating is tightly packed, but the AC is cold and the well shaded south side patio is comfy with misters and especially when the outside temps are tolerable (80% of the year).
