Went at the wrong moment in time, I guess, because they were opened as a regular bar, but no Karaoke any more. They said they hadn't been a Karaoke bar in over a year? They need to rename themselves.

Fantastic food, awesome karaoke rooms, super clean, friendly service. It's a one woman show right now, so be nice to aunty and order her delicious food!! So savory, garlicky, delicious. She serves and cooks the food. Love this place!

Surprised by how slow this place was. Didn’t get any food but drinks and karaoke were solid!

So terrible..... We had reservations for a party, but when we got there they were closed.... The finally let us in, but wouldn't turn any lights on, when we tried to order drinks the first 5 drinks we ordered we were told they "didn't have" (probably about half the menu) so we settled for drinks we didn't even really want. After sitting for almost 15 min, she finally same out of the kitchen and threw a basket of some sort of snack on the table and walked away.... They turned some horrible loud music on and proceeded to tell at each other for almost 20 min in the kitchen, thinking we couldn't hear them (we totally could) we tried to order another round of waters and such, and it took her 20 minutes to come back to the table with the drinks.... We wanted to step outside for a smoke break, and she yelled at us to give her our bank card so we couldn't not pay (rude). After we came back inside and they still had refused to turn the lights on we decided we didn't want to sit in the semi dark anymore listening to them tell at each other again the in kitchen so we left.... Horrible service, unprofessional...... I wouldn't go back if you paid me to

I keep forgetting I've been here before - maybe that's indicative of the karaoke experience. Amidst the Korean BBQ and the grocery store in the plaza lies this place. There's two systems - one with the dated number punch in from the books, and another KTV-like system that's predominantly Asian songs. If you're predominantly looking for English songs it might be a struggle - you largely search by initials, not spellings, and oftentimes you'll have result pages with largely hanja or kanji dominating the screen. The most you can narrow down is Foreign or Foreign Band. Some staples will have everything while other classics may leave you hanging with one song from an unknown album. The rooms are at a flat rate per hour independent of number of people, but the rate goes down a bit if you order food/drink with them. Must have been a weird Saturday, because we wanted soju yet all they had left was grape. Tasted like a Jolly Rancher, but not my speed. The sound system itself was decent, and if you have enough Chinese/Korean/Japanese speaking friends to take advantage of the catalogue, I say go for it. Otherwise, YZ is here if you need them but not my final destination.

The place is very sketchy. We called ahead and they told us a rate got there spent 2 hours there and were then told a different rate. Look at your bill closely and make sure to ask the rate before you enter the room because you'll get a huge surprise after everything's been said and done. The remote is in Korean which makes it difficult to navigate through the remote. They're selection of English songs is outdated. All in all, not a great experience. Good luck!

It's too remote. It's hard to find. No good feeling

I was so excited when I found out this karaoke spot has late night authentic Chinese food until 4am!!!! They have noodle, fried rice, skewers and many more. Highly recommended! Chicken skin and chicken cartilage skewers are my go to. Also love their spicy hot pot

Good place, but primarly a place for private rooms and karaoke

Just visited this place for a friend's birthday. Really great prices and vibe. Had a party of 10 and we spent about two hours there. Limited menu this night but excited to come back and try more. Solid drinks too.

Fun place to sing

After its been a Hard Days Night and I've been working like a dog, belting out a few cords to release stress helps. And what better than to have friends come with! You know they are true friends when they are not having a good time and yet, support your drunken end. Such was the second time we came to YZ's Karaoke. Having been here a few weeks ago, we loved the layout of the room, atmosphere, and great karaoke equipment. Its a bit pricy @ 48.00 bucks an hour but the clean rooms, supplied devices, and videos were amazing. However upon our return a few weeks later, the system changed making for a blah experience. We were bummed out as you can see from some of the photos. Was not the same. Only the pricing remained. Made for us having a quick exit not even finishing our allotted paid time! Hope they return to the same previous system. It made me sound almost human.

Warning: The consumption of alcohol may lead to the belief that you can sing. I'm sure that's what everybody was thinking as I belted out the tunes of Elvis Presley with my high-pitched girly voice. This voice was made for auto-tune, okay? At $48/hour, you too can live out your American Idol dreams. From Asian ballads to American bangers, this place has an extensive catalog of songs you can choose and sing. Want booze? They got it! Shrimp crackers and peanuts are offered as snacks. I'm not sure if they have any other kind of food as we stopped in after dinner so we were only interested in singing. All in all, a decent place to do some karaoke! They have tiny shower caps for your mic, they have a tambourine so you can be extra, and the rooms have the little doorbell button you can press to alert the attention of staff. Dope.
