The best small restaurant Nogales has to offer, fish tacos, shrimp tacos, tacos de cabeza was amazing. You prepare your tacos in the salsa bar, Mexican soft drinks and more. I am from Los Angeles where there are many Great places out there but no one and I mean no one will compare to cocina La Ley. Very hidden.
It was my first time here and I left disappointed. A positive is that even though it was around lunch time and a bit busy, the food was ready quickly. However, the shrimp taco had more breading than shrimp. It was nice and crunchy, but it was a bit much. The tacos arrive plain and there's a salsa/condiment bar where you prep the taco to your liking. I also got an horchata and it was alright. Make sure you tighten down the cap before shaking it to mix the settled contents....
Referred by a new friend, my husband and I thought we'd check it out for a light lunch. 1:30 on a Wednesday afternoon we dropped into the little unassuming white and blue building in the heart of the auto repair district of Nogales. Duck inside the tiny building and be amazed! We just had a couple tacos, camaron (deep fried shrimp), birria (shredded beef), and dorado (shrimp, potato & seasonings, helped ourselves to the condiment bar and took our adventure. OMG, amazing!...
