El Vanquete Mexican food truck

I’m surprised to see this place get such low ratings. We’ve tried all the Mexican places in the area and this one is head and shoulders above them. We often get the vegetarian options which no other place has e.g. veggie enchilada and veggie quesadillas, and the table side guacamole is excellent.

a week agoNEW I am giving El B 4 stars only because the food and fast service of the food runner Pablo is very good. The servers are very friendly. We have been going there alnost every week for 3 years but after our treatment from the manager Daniel on Oct 31 being so rude....we won't be back for awhile. They decided to close an hour early and when we walked in he rudely says we are closed! No hey guys I am sorry - we decided to close early...just RUDE!! He knows we always come there and we felt we deserved something friendly. He is NEVER friendly and acts like he hates his job. We have brought so much family here and they all enjoy it but we wont be back for awhile. Daniel needs a happy pill!!!

This has become my favorite Mexican Restaurant in Claremore. Great Service with a large selection. The added feature of eating outside on the patio is very nice.

Come on man! I know bugs in food happen but my girls and my food were covered in dead small flies. After we ordered tonight around 7 p.m. Baked in the cheese quesadilla and in the birria tacos.. couldn't even eat any of it. Waste of money.

I recently tried El Banquete and found the food to be typical mexican fare. However, the service was attentive and the facility was very clean . The problem I had is none of the staff were wearing masks and it is risking the health of the servers and customers not to require it. Covid is spiking and this place is so lackadaisical it makes me wonder what goes on in the kitchen with respect to other sanitary concerns. I will not be back or at least not until the risk of covid is over.

This is my favorite Mexican Restaurant in NE OK but no more. The servers don't wear masks! None of them! When we asked about it I was just looked at like "what a crazy request." I can't have business lunches here anymore.

Enjoyed a meal during Taco Tuesday. The other half had the tacos he said were good. I HAD THE ENCHALIDAS,YUM. They were super busy so it was a little slow to get food, but it was good.

The food is way overpriced. No child's plates or drinks. Manager did not seem to care. Will not eat at this restaurant

We ate here twice in a week with family. Everyone loved it. Lots of options including vegetarian - really yummy food and drinks! Great place to celebrate holidays - we went the first time on Christmas Eve!
