Like heaven!
The green chili burrito tastes like my abuelita made it when she was alive. Huge chunks of perfectly cooked chuck roast are melded with all of the flavors of Mexico and loaded into a huge flour tortilla. The portions are very large. Totally worth the drive to Oracle!

Had one ground beef and one chicken enchilada. The salsa(perfect level of spice, which they have chile de Arbol in it) and chips were also fantastic. Service was awesome. Highly recommend this small restaurant off the beaten path in Oracle AZ

Oracle is a small mountain town.
This restaurant has been here since 1957, I think.
The atmosphere is that of a great area restaurant which has been here forever.
The portions are generous and the food is great.
People could crowd in here at times.
You gotta love being in with a happy crowd.

Tried this place with my family after a day in the pepper sauce caves. It was delicious! I had the shredded beef tacos with beans and rice. Between the rest of my family we had burritos, chicken enchiladas and tostadas. Everyone enjoyed their meal very much. The salsa was also excellent.

Food was absolutely delicious. Tortillas, beans, salaa, etc were all authentic and the customer service was top tier. Definitely taking the drive back up here for more food in the near future.

Tonight Sophie and I stumbled into what turned out to be a genuine standout—Casa Rivera’s Taco Express in Oracle. Absolutely phenomenal food, the kind that makes you stop mid-bite just to grin at how good it is. Flautas crisped to perfection, a veggie burrito so good it outclassed anything I’ve eaten in the past two weeks (and that list includes Pasadena, Manhattan Beach, Salt Lake City, and even Vegas).

What makes it sing is the whole package: welcoming charm, swift service, prices that don’t make you wince, and food clearly made with pride. It’s rare to find a spot that feels this effortless yet delivers so well.
