Filiberto’s Mexican Food

I ordered the Chorizo Fries (for the first time) and a ground beef taco. The taco was just ok. I don't know what was on the Chorizo Fries. It sure didn't taste like chorizo. It was more like ground cardboard with red food coloring. I normally eat at the Filibertos on Cortaro Road, and the food is great.

Best Fast Food Mexican place ever. Visited here between 3-4pm yesterday and today(7/8/25). First for mini tacos with Lengua, today for Cabeza.

Both time greeted by smiling face of Cashier Darling who has been kind enough to explain & correct the 1st time customer for false prices of 5 mini tacos advertised on DoorDash.

As pictures show, took insane amount of salsas and pickles for free, and both Lengua and Cabeza mini tacos were amazing.

Highly recommend this place for your quick authentic flavored taco needs!

Mediocre food at too high a price. Prices have gone up so much relative to higher quality restaurants. It is great as cheap, fast Mexican food but cheap no longer applies.

Excellent Baja style Mexican food in Tucson. The fish tacos are the real deal. The servings are huge.

Way too expensive for the taste and quality. Good enough to earn three stars, but I will not go back.

Got a chicken salad, there was no dressing, but the lettuce was swimming in what looked like mop water. Burritos were big but flavorless.

I went in to pick up some food. Nobody is around to help me. Figured I'd give them some time while I used the restroom. When I return the lady was finally out from the back and immediately tells me the restroom is for customers only. Piss poor attitude on top of nobody being up front to tend to customers.

$19 for a cold carne asada burrito add cheeses and a large coke. Come was flat and Mr Pibb wasnt much better. We all work hard for our money and when our dollar doesn’t stretch as it once did it’s now a choice to avoid overpriced food joints like Filiberto’s.

solid Burrito with a generous portion. It was a little greasy from the steak, but overall a solid option for a quick meal.

Breakfast burritos are advertised and put on the menu as "served all day" but this location seems to choose not to follow that staple of the filibertos menu and I was told breakfast isn't available, I can get that but they should at least change the menu to reflect it or tell me before I order...

Always my favorite filibertos location, food is great and the employees are friendly and helpful. The best salsa too, love the green and red.?

Also to everyone complaining about pricing and portion sizing: a not so friendly reminder that it's happening everywhere. It's called inflation. So before you leave nasty reviews on local businesses try to be mindful about that they're doing what they have to for the longevity of their restaurants. Also personally? I think the portions are often very generous and huge, you get any meal and you always have enough left for a second lunch. I think the price VERY much fits what you're getting. Plus it's delicious. So instead of griping and complaining, just be kind or go somewhere else. It's not a huge deal, you just have unrealistic expectations for a restaurant that already goes above and beyond. Thank you!

Is always a pleasure to walk into a restaurant and see clean doors and windows in the entrance area. If they keep the high traffic areas clean they keep everything clean. The food is always outstanding.

Wow! This Filbertos sucks! I got the smallest burrito ever! I paid $13 definitely won't be going back. Lady that works the front counter wasn't very friendly either. This was Saturday night.
