Freaking YUM! First time I tried Freddy's was in Missoula MT years ago and omgosh...so good. Hadn't found one near me until last night.
Had a prime rib burger - melt in your mouth tender with mushrooms and onions. Seriously satisfying. Cheese fries - crispy thin fries and cheese sauce, what's not to love.
Piece de resistance - chocolate brownie concrete. Okay stop right there. The last time I had something frozen that was so satisfyingly chocolatey was back in the day when Swęnson's had a flavor called Sticky Chewy Chocolate. This was every bit that and then some. In fact it was SO chocolaty I had to tap out half way through. Unheard of. Almost embarassing - I don't back down to chocolate, lol. I'm reminded of the content creator dude that throws his glasses when it's that good. It's that good.
My party's order - 2 prime rib sandwiches, 2 cheese fries and 2 concretes for just over $50. I don't know how to tell you any other way...it's worth it.
There's an app, of course. It doesn't seem to include some seasonal special concrete flavors, but you can order online (they start on the hot food when you arrive but the cold items will be waiting for you in the cooler by the counter), order on touch screen or face to face. Everyone working there that we talked to was friendly and helpful - didn't figure out the cooler part for a minute.
Atmosphere is semi-50's diner-ish with a lot of their signature bright red.
Go. Just go.

Hit up Freddy's for some frozen custard. We went through the drive thru which was super convenient but didnt go into the place to check out the interior of the restaurant. The custard was very good and had plenty of mix in options. If you want some tasty custard swing into Freddy's.

Freddy's custard is very good. And they serve it with a smile. I decided to try their chili dog - it was good but not great. I won't have it again but I will have their burgers again and again. And the custard is so smooth and delicious.

Tried to get ice cream in the drive thru. They couldn't understand what we wanted so we left.

Extremely disappointed. Didn't eat the food this visit as my last order was wrong but this visit just made it worse. Went with my parents for the 8th-10th shake promo, with the coupons ( I have the app downloaded). Wanted to treat my mother for her bday. The service was horrible, not very inviting cashier, they wouldn't sell/honor the coupon that I had received THERE a few days earlier. Just disappointing because for one, wasn't honored, but they didn't offer any remedy even though I have the app they said was required, maybe they weren't advised/trained about this promo, whatever the disconnect may be. Just solidified why I do not like to eat here, overpriced for what it is, order always wrong and never feel welcomed by staff.
