We both had the Persian stews. The spices were subtle and not overwhelming...just perfect. Portions were large. The rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked. We had fresh cooked naan bread. Friendly and helpful staff. Very enjoyable in every way.

Delicious food! The kubideh was very flavorful and the texture of the meat was excellent. The gentlemen (owner?) was very kind when I asked if there would be nuts in anything (allergy). He even let me know that other middle eastern styles might include nuts, so I should always ask. Not everyone takes allergies seriously, so I thought that was really thoughtful and kind! I highly recommend Just Kabab!

I’m Syrian so very familiar with this style of food. Very expensive for very tiny portions. Didn’t feel the usual middle eastern generosity. Food isn’t awful but isn’t great either. Tough beef kabob, very little meat. Rice is bland. Desserts were not well executed at all and were barely edible, baklava soggy and too much cinnamon. Kanafi not crispy at all, weird doughy taste, cheese not right, just didn’t taste good like what I’m used to. Oro valley doesn’t have many options for Mediterranean food, but if you drive south a bit there are far better options. In a pinch maybe a lunch option would be ok but not for takeout or dinner and don’t bother with their desserts. I like Aspasia, Zayna, Kabob King, Shish Kabob House on Broadway, or even Pappoules Greek fast food is better quality.

I drove from Green Valley to try Just Kabob. It was worth the trip. I ordered the Sultani plate. The food was freshly cooked and seasoned perfectly. The options I chose for my plate came with Beef Koobideh, Chicken Saffron rice and condiment s with tomato. Every thing on my plate was beyond my expectations. New to Arizona I have been looking for a good place for kabobs. I will definitely make the trip back.

Just Kabab is an absolute gem in Oro Valley! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared — every bite feels authentic and made with care. The kababs are perfectly grilled, the rice and sides are delicious, and portions are generous.

The meals are a perfect flavorful explosion in every bite. The owners are the nicest people and so welcoming when you walk through the door. You can see how prideful they are of their food and how they are open to any input from their customers. Our meals were so delicious that we also got some of their frozen to go meals to share at home. Their menu offers traditional meat dishes as well as vegan and vegetarian. We had their Vegan Tofu Gheymeh (Eggplant) and it was the best I’ve had. Even the non vegans will appreciate the flavors and non mushy tofu. Affordable and delicious! Definitely give it a try!
