We love the Keg, but last night was not up to their usual high service standard. The table was set poorly with no bread plates or appropriate water glasses. The bread came and we had to ask for plates. The "water" glasses are small tumblers now, which only hold 6 oz of water. The Keg has always felt like a high end restaurant, but now it's like eating at Denny's. We didn't have salad forks and had to reuse the fork for the main course. They've materially...
Absolutely love the Keg. My wife and I dine there often. My last trip was not the best. Our server seemed a bit off and the service was subpar for the Keg. Our food was delicious but they forgot one of my groups meals and also forgot to bring my side of mashed potatoes out. After waiting for the server to return, which he didn't, we called a host over and she got the server. They forgot to put in the order for my father and it took about 15 min to get it along with my side....
I have to say we were very disappointed this time we've been coming to the keg for years. This visit was not a good experience we had sat down to eat. Other people came in after I sat down to eat eight and left before we even got our food. I ordered my stake medium. It came out, medium rare I mean they gave us free dessert, but really doesn't make up for the experience. I do have to say our server was great. She kept checking on us. I don't think it was her fault...
