I was visiting from out of town and thought to myself, what is open at midnight?? I was surprised to see that this Walmart is 24 hrs! Omg and it was actually clean! This is a rare thing since I am from LA. Great place to go.

This Walmart is OK when it's open, it is not a 24 hour seven day store. Reason why I gave it two stars, maybe should give it one, it is not open until seven in the morning. The hours posted are incorrect.

Genuinely upset with the costumer service at this location. A friend(26) and I(25) went in to buy some wine and while in the wine aisle ended up starting a harmless conversation with a young man grabbing some Powerade and water for him and his girlfriend. The three of us walked to the checkout lane together. Because he was underage we were refused service even though we were not with him and did not even know his name. We attempted to explain this to the manager on duty and had no luck. Even though just a few hours before we went through the self checkout and were told that only the person physically purchasing the alcohol needed to be carded. It's really upsetting that our friendly nature ruined our night. All staff should follow the same rules at all times of the day. A three hour time difference should not make that big of a difference. If they really don't allow alcohol to be purchased even after conversing with a stranger underage, then maybe they should not sell alcoholic all.

This place is a one stop shop, the only thing is there are so many people and not enough employees to provide excellent customer service but I understand that so I cut them a break. Great place to buy electronics and food, yes food!!!

I have friends who swear by this location, and say that it is the best in Tucson (never mind that it is really in Oro Valley). I say that apart from its pretty nice location, it is a typical Walmart Supercenter, and not worth the extra effort to visit, especially in light of the fact that there are two other closer locations. But then again, what do I know? I'm a Target man. All I can say is that this place is humongous, and you would be hard pressed to not find what you are looking for. The store is well maintained and I was impressed with the grocery shelves, which were well stocked. Unimpressed with the produce selection though, but again, this is Walmart, and to be honest, that aspect of their business has always puzzled me.

Tracey... This person--and the great customer service she provided--is the sole reason I'm yelping my Walmart Supercenter at Marketplace Oro Valley. I visit this store about once a week, and never seem to make it out the door :-/ without a $100.+ cart full of groceries. One of the VERY important items I buy weekly is Goslings DIET Ginger Beer... yeah... DIET! It's amazing. Unfortunately, when I show up, it's rarely in stock on the shelves. That's where Tracey (or Tracy?; sorry if I misspelled it) came in. I was looking for an employee to check the back and Tracey was gracious and friendly as she dropped what she was doing to go check the back and SUCCESS! Came back out with a full case of the Goslings Diet. As I was thanking her, I said I would buy more but they never have much of it. She said there was one more case and offered to go back and bring it out. This employee truly acted like a business OWNER and made certain I had a great customer experience... I don't expect that level of customer care from a mega-chain grocery, especially one as large as this (low, low prices; I like them, but having been in retail myself, it's got to be tough making budget on those small margins). Many, many Compliments to Tracey; she is an exceptional employee and she made a huge positive difference in our weekend. Walmart is one of those places where even if it's a hassle, you go anyway, knowing your fixed income goes a lot further there... Well, Tracey made it NOT a hassle and we stocked up on a great product that we couldn't indulge in if we were having to purchase it elsewhere... Now... OV Manager... bring on some serious Gluten-free selections like the Marana store? Please?

The employees tend to be nice here. Honestly the only reason I have co to yes going here is due to the pharmacy. However, the store really needs improvement. They are constantly out of items. Many times there are empty shelves. One time there was a whole section in the freezer area that was completely empty. Not only that, but the produce looks rotten and bruised majority of the time. It is also priced higher than most grocers in the area. They are now restocking shelves in the middle of the rush so it is impossible to get through the aisles without frustration. The lines get long, with few registers open. There have been times when they don't even have a register open, only the self checkouts are open. That backs up then due to people having a huge shopping trip. Now they have begun asking for receipts to check through your bags before you can even leave the store. Great, I am already frustrated from a trip that yielded not even half of what I need and now you treat me like a criminal? No thanks! There are many other stores in the area wig just as good prices, better stocked shelves, higher quality and no one checking my bags and receipts like I am a criminal! I think it is time for me to find a new pharmacy so I don't have to deal with this every time I go!
