Dined in without expectation. Came out with satisfaction. 100% recommended.

I went there after reading the reviews and the food was so much better than I expected so I was satisfied and left.

The food is not delicious, the chicken is very dry, not recommended.

The food was delicious and the portions were generous! The price was also very reasonable. The unique decor, a ship, made it a highly recommended restaurant.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was disappointing due to the poor service from one of the waiters. We ordered a bottle of sake along with the rest of our meal at the very beginning. However, the sake didn’t arrive until more than 30 minutes later — well after we had already finished all our food.

We asked the waiter about it and even suggested canceling the sake since it no longer made sense to serve it. Yet after hearing that, they immediately served it, by when there was no food left at all to pair it with. I understand dinner service can be busy, but I honestly can’t believe a bottle of sake would take over 30 minutes to prepare.

This kind of carelessness was rather disappointing and overshadowed the rest of the experience.

The restaurant is really cold and expect the food to not taste authentic, especially the ramen, the chicken teriyaki, the korean spicy chicken and chicken katsu. Waiting time is quite long at around 8pm.

Terrible service with nobody willing to take our name for a table. I asked both a waitress and the cashier, since the place had no host/hostess and neither would assist. Perhaps they need to hire more staff but this was very disappointing.

I would definitely give a 0. They overcharged us. The price of every dish shown on the recipe was 1 dollars more than the one on the menu. When we asked him, he said the price on the menu is “cash price”, which is completely nonsense since I saw they give 3.5% discount for paying in cash. They charged us 8 dollars for a horrible-taste bottle of milk tea, which is much more expensive than most boba shop!! And there was barely any service, the waitress just brings the water and you cannot reach them anymore. The food is ok but this kind of dishonesty is frustrating!

The service is great, our server was very attentive and sweet even though the restaurant was packed. The portion sizes were also great but the food was incredibly sweet for what it was. I guess it’s good asian food for arizona but coming from new york its underwhelming. The yakisoba and fried rice was weirdly sweet and dry and the donkatsu was very thin and lacked any moisture. The restaurant got very busy towards 6pm and our food took a while.

Inside a now land bound boat called the Canyon king, you’ll find all your favorite Japanese dishes at New York Teriaki. We ate here the day after Christmas & it was so nice to have some vegetables & delicious food! The boba teas were consumed so quickly I didn’t get a good photo. We tried the honey dew & watermelon flavors, the latter of which was a little sweeter. Both delicious. I got the chicken stir fry bento box. My husband got the spicy pepper chicken bento box. Our kids split the chicken fried rice. The portions are very nice sized & everything is so tasty! Would come back here in a heartbeat. The service was friendly & attentive too.

They were super busy since we went there on holiday. Service was quick and staff did well to keep up. Portion sizes are huge. Unfortunately, overall we didn’t have a great experience. Stirfry and yakisoba were served room temperature. I would not recommend their Sushi as it didn’t look or taste fresh. Nothing really stood out in terms of taste or flavors.

They are extremely negligent about their service. We specifically asked them not to add any meat or seafood in our food yet they served us pork dumplings. And yet they were not apologetic about it. I wouldn’t ever go there. They don’t really care about someone’s religious beliefs.

The food is delicious and the service is friendly. They have everything from Japanese to Korean. The soup can be adjusted to a thick or light spiciness. It’s great to be able to eat this in the desert!

You should avoid this place as possibly as you can. Instead giving you the bill when you ask for check, they will ask you to pay at cashier, and won’t give you the receipt unless you ask for. You will notice that the price on the receipt is higher than that on the menu. They will tell you they charge service fee when you pay with credit card, but won’t tell you this before you pay.
